Slots.lv and check withdrawal

Since I'm from the US my options are obviously limited to where I'm able to play "Missing 32Red :(" but I actually made a withdrawal for $1000+ ish and they charge $75!!? for a check? The only other options are Bank Wire but the minimum amount must be $1500 and maximum is $2000 per week, It does not list any fee and nor did the check until I entered a value to withdrawal.

Is this the norm for casinos that accept US players? When Slots.lv sends you a message about your withdrawal they add these lines to it.

• Deposit your check as soon as received via ATM into your personal bank account.
• Do not mention "online gaming".
• Please allow normal check clearing time frames as your bank may place a hold on International items.

Well, the problem here is that my bank ATM will not accept the check, no matter how many times and different ATM's i try. I eventually had to go in and deposit the check VIA teller and of course they are nosey and asked me if i lived in Canada...... seriously? I said that i have freelance work from Canada. It's been 15 days and it's still being held by my bank. They sent me a letter letting me know that it will be available in two more days.

I've heard of US player accepted casinos having Western Union, Debit Card/Credit Card, Money Gram etc as withdrawal options, is there something I'm missing?

I've attempted to do a "visa fast funds" withdrawal with slots.lv, but had it rejected and assumed it was because I exclusively use a debit card to deposit (I'd rather have this checking account closed for gaming than a credit card that could jack with our credit score). Supposedly they waive one fee a month, but I'm with you, was also charged for the check to be sent, that I had to go in and physically deposit with a teller. Maybe contact support for a refund for your "one free withdrawal method"?

The long and short of it is that the da$% casinos know we're at a disadvantage, and they'll use it against us. But on the bright side, the check will clear, so that's awesome. A hint, by the way, my.. uh, ahem, big Bank of The American Colonies will accept the check in a physical location and clear it the next day.
