However, I do have a copy of the email they sent me which told me to check the t&c at Silver Dollar Casino!!!

Why would they say this when I was being banned from Millionaire Casino?

I think we all know the answer to that.

Unfortunately, it isn't - it looks like you got well and truly suckered in. I don't see any way of getting your money unless someone can furnish a dated copy of the terms at the time of your signup, which realistically is not going to happen.

This matter certainly deserves more publicity.
 
Looks like the terms were only added recently

The only difference I see is that a link has been added at the bottom of the new page for Terms & Conditions, which contains the info about having an account at more than one casino in the group.

Clearly these terms were added after Google's snapshot on January 20th.

I thought I had read some terms at millionaire but I must have looked at the promotional ones when I couldn't find the (non-existent) general ones.

I knew they didn't mention the other casino's anywhere as I searched before my first post. Thanks for the proof!

Terms and Conditions for Wagering the Welcome Bonus

This casino should be rogued for malicious advertising practices.

They sent me snail mail spam advertising all 6 casinos in their group, along with the deposit bonuses that you can get from all of them. On the CD they included they even printed "Over $1000 in Bonuses".

No where did they say you can't have accounts at more than 1 of them. This is clearly intended to dupe the unsuspecting victim to play at as many casinos as he/she likes, if they lose, good. If they win, then this group will invoke their "no more than 1 casino" rule, and confiscate winnings while keeping losses. This is as rogueish as it gets folks.
 
this same thing happened to my friend back in December. I will let them know about this thread. They have been pretty muched turned off online casinos because of this incident. Its a shame that this happens.

Cheers Trezz, they look like the promotional t&c. I was after the 'general' t&c but thanks to ritsol have realised the problem was they didn't exist.
 
English Harbour group was recently taken over by Leisure and Gaming, a large listed company headed up by Alastair Assheton who is generally respected as an industry professional.

It may be an idea to draw his attention to this thread, and I will attempt to do so in the hope that these problems (which could be rooted in inefficiency as well as dishonesty) can be ironed out.


P.S. (Later) I have contacted Alistair Assheton (the CEO of Leisure and Gaming) and his Commercial Director, Henry Birch, so let's see if that gets some action in redressing or explaining this.

This is basically VIP Casinos group now.. The VIP Sportsbooks had a similar thing about multiple accounts and usually only letting players have bonuses at one without making it very clear that all accounts will be combined in this way. Obviously this is a bit worse than that. VIP don't have a very clean history with their original casinos either.
 
Alistair Assheton has responded by return of email and he has a member of his management team at L and G looking into this right now.

As I said before, this guy is an experienced executive of integrity, and I therefore have hopes that the company will redress this issue quickly and communicate their findings.
 
Very nice, Millionaire and Planetluck both looking to be paying their players.

It was starting to look like meltdown in the complaints department in recent days. Still much happening, but good results in the offing here it would seem.
 
Very encouraging news!

I opened a couple of accounts at the same time (before reading this thread), and was already getting ready for the mess to follow. Now I have a glimmer of hope that I'll actually get paid.

Can you please ask for a clear answer on the accounts at each casino? I understand they prohibit accounts at eacg casino now in their terms, however their advertisements encourage the signing up at each individual casino. I think they need to drastically change and synchronise their marketing and enforcing departments.

Future gamblers need these kind of things to be clear or gambling will be ruined forever.
 
Hi TrixSlice, this has already been communicated to Alistair Assheton and as you can see things are already starting to move. I would be surprised if they were not now monitoring threads here and at WOL too.
 
Thanks everyone for your patience. I am just beginning to get back into the swing of things after my brief absence.

Apologies for the Partnerlogic sales pitch - she's brand new and didn't know any better. I'll brief her on how this forum operates.

As for this issue at hand, there have been problems in the past identical to this one. There should be no reason in the world why a player can't open an account in each and everyone of these casinos. The EH group was listed here for quite a while, and they were promoted as "one" as in "sign up at EH and then give Silver Dollar a spin". I was never privy to the fact that players could only sign up for a "new player bonus" at only one of these casinos. Perhaps this is a recent thing. Nevertheless, it is not clear and it's not regulated in a fair way. EH took a break from Casinomeister when they were going through some administrative changes a year or so ago; I spoke about this a while back.

Anyway, like Jetset mentioned - Alistair Assheton is highly regarded in this industry. He knows me - and I know him. He's one of the reasons VIP Casinos and Poker are listed here. I'll be in touch with him to try to work this all out.
 
While you're at it, could you please ask them about their spamming policy? I have repeatedly requested to be removed from their mailing list after I got one of those offers that was not honored. I asked via e-mail to support, then I asked via Live Chat - the chat person rudely terminated the chat without so much as a word.

I still keep getting daily promotional e-mail from English Harbour, most of them seem to originate from dollars.playforcash.com or gems.fortunesawait.com

I have accounts at all EH casinos and have had them for years.

So - if I take the bonus offer from Silver Dollar (they sent one) - where am I in regards to the multiple account thingy ??

I will just stop playing at EH until this clears.
