Wel, the positive side is, if you hit an expanding, I mean, a
former expanding wild on the last spin of your freespinround, you dont have to go through that endless animations that you cant click through anymore.
But thats one helluva bug!
So far for the RTP beeing 'set in stone'.
But I'm sure that, as always, Microgaming will come with a bugfix soon (before Christmas 2015)
and a proper explanation of what happened.
Don't hold your breath
They will keep their heads down, and sneak a fix in. They will NOT want to explain how two instances of the SAME GAME could be so DIFFERENT.
It also shows that the games are NOT "set in stone", and something CHANGED, and at THEIR end (not a display glitch), and on an OLD game that has long since been part of the tournament portfolio, and has worked fine until recently.
There have been other changes made to existing games, and we can SEE it happening in the lobby when an update comes in, yet no-one, operator or MGS, will admit that OLD games are getting updates, as well as the new ones being added.
I doubt this was ever INTENTIONAL, but something they DID change in tournament Hitman, but NOT in the lobby version of the same game, went horribly wrong, and made the bonus round operate with a different set of rules (i.e. no expanding wilds, just normal ones). It shows that these rule sets are NOT set in stone, and although the reels don't change, it is the rule sets that at least have the facility to be changed, and if this happened in the behind the scenes probabilty tables that drive "pick" bonus rounds, it would be impossible to prove, but it is certainly a long standing suspicion that such "pick" rounds are "not as good as they were on launch", which we are told is purely down to us being unusually lucky on our first few picks, and that the poorer experience is what should be expected as the norm.
MGS have STILL not fixed the bug in "Summer Holiday", and neither do they, nor Red Flush (where I found and reported it), want to talk about it. I was promised a full audit from MGS, and some feedback after a couple of weeks. Despite driving them mad with constant phonecalls to try to get them to see and understand there even WAS an issue, I was NEVER graced with any of the promised feedback, "marketing" never got back to me, despite SEVERAL promises from high up members of front line CS. I have not even been told the problem has been fixed, and will not be able to tell unless I get given another set of complimentary spins on the game, and am able to get the free spins bonus, and refuse the first lot (it's the same concept as the slot "No Worries").
No word either as to why Summer Holiday "autospin" doesn't work, as it does on EVERY OTHER slot in the MGS Video Slot range, as well as on all the "classic" slots.
The ONLY class of slot game without "autospin" are the "Fruit Machines", tagged as AWP.
Is the Summer Holiday video slot an AWP, rather than a true video slot?
