All my installed MG casinos (14) does not work anymore (from friday 26,nov)
My Norman antivirus detects "casino.dll" virus, removes it,and then that casino will not open anymore.

I have to disconnect the "Norman" real time antivirus.
So i uninstall the casino, then download it again, then it works fine.
But if i turn on the "real time antivirus" the same thing happens again and again.

So for now i have to have the antivirus turn off.
Anyone else having Norman antivirus and using MG with this problem.

It usually happens with a lot of antiviruses. Probably it's false positives, since the most casino clients use some kind of 'malware' code which is not exactly malware and not dangerous.

You can just add the 'infected' files to the ignore list of your antivirus, so it will not detect them anymore. Or everytime you want to play, just disable real time protection.

Seems like MG had an upgrade on friday that cause this.
I been playing for 7 years and i know its not a virus, but rather an crash caused in the antivirus program.

I took this up with MGS and this is their response:

"Microgaming is aware of the Norman Security Suite False Positive, an incorrect assertion of fact, identification of the casino.dll and casinolobby.dll as a potential virus. Norman has been contacted in this regard in order to rectify the False Positive identification of these files.

"Microgaming ensures that all software is aligned to the Anti-Spyware Coalition published guidelines, a group dedicated to defining best practices for the antivirus industry.

"False positives such as this can occur and not just for the gaming industry. Several faux pas have been noted in the press in the last year where antivirus programs have detected and quarantined Windows system files by way of example.

"In order to address this issue in the short term please use the Norman Security Suite console to recover the files from quarantine and mark the Microgaming folder for exclusion under the Antivirus and Spyware menu of Norman Security Suite."

The same false positives exist in Malwarebytes application and Avira Antivir. Probably we must submit them for exlusion.
