Your Input Please Meistermeet 2015 - Thank-You Thread...

Finally back home in Sweden. Travelled 11 hours yesterday and still have a couple of hours today before I'm back at my place. What a journey it has been, but so great:)

The meistermeet was so fun. My first beers for 7 months and the opportunity to be social again. I found myself running around asking almost every single one who they were, talking a few words and off to the next one. I'm sure I missed a few anyway but I tried at least.
Dunover was a talking machine for real too :p Nifty, how great it was to see you:thumbsup: Simmo, Bryan, Karolina, Max, KK, funnymunny...you were all so nice.
Seeing Redbet-Alex again (thanks for the hugs):) and Andy really felt good. The guys from Videoslots, Casinoluck-Eric, Ben, Unibetrep, conker,...and everyone I don't even remember now

I missed a few too that couldn't make it. You know who you are and next year you'll be there all of you, because I won't miss it, no way!

My god Trilej why so long :eek2:

Bryan has already said it but BIG THANKS to all who came out. Very well attended, just a super mix of players, operators, affiliates, industry wheels, forum peeps, etc. TBH I think it was our best event in years and I reckon we could have happily gone on for hours. Thanks all for a great evening!

A few special shout-outs if I may:

Thank you CWC and Karolina for being our gracious and generous hosts.

Thanks to Nifty for travelling halfway around the world to share a few toasts and swap stories with us.

And big thanks to all the forum members who travelled to the city just to hang with the Meister crowd for an evening. You guys spent your own time and money to do this and I don't think we can tell you how much we appreciate it. Good times and great memories. :)

This is something I would dearly love to do!

Maybe some casino (who accepts Canadians, lol) could run a contest for a trip to London next year. It wouldn't even have to be CM exclusive, I am sure ICE would be fascinating for any player.

Would be great if it was not a wager race, a mere raffle would get me trying for tickets.

I have a huge question for you people from England.
This was my first visit there so some things I couldn't understand.

I know I'm not a kid anymore even though I can behave like one:p
...but why did they call me Madame everywhere? It made me feel really really old:eek2:

I'm from England and never liked that, either! Felt like a slap on the butt, but it is a form of respect.

But, Sara (and may I say this , respectfully?....but you're 'UP' there in the years)...ok, running outta here...........

;):p

Being called Madam does not really reflect your age in this country :)

Its more one of the following:-

* 'over the top' polite and respectful (although seems opposite happened to you lol :p)
* Some 'nervous' people use it when unsure or does not want to ask your name

When we've been out and about 'cold sales' have addressed my 26 year old wife by this numerous times, its just one of those things to be honest but I would defo see it as a mark of respect rather than the other

:axeman2: Run fast, if you can, because you're a lot older

Now if I had been 25 years younger, what had they called me then?

Vinyl did! :D:D

I say it again, hang the expense. Most people deposit many times more a year than the cost of a day or two in London, and you'll remember the Meistermeet far longer than most deposits...

I checked the time of the last train, and used that as my guide for when it was time to leave. I was going nowhere other than back home, and didn't have to get up early the next day (didn't either:D).

Of course had everybody else gone, so would I, but in some ways it was better staying on as it got a little quieter and it was possible to actually talk to people and hear what they were saying. I left at the final emptying when it seemed a very late (but probably free) dinner provided by NetEnt was the attraction.

Sadly, I was too late back to Waterloo for a little emptying of my own, and just had time to grab a coffee and board the train all in the space of 20 minutes.

No pun intended?

Hi Tirilej,

Here up north they could call you 'Luv'. Personally I hate when some people do that. I'll be rather called Madame or even Mam but not Luv regardless of age. ;)

Also BIG THANKS to all attendees!!! It was good to meet everyone

Kind Regards,
Karolina
