Hey there CM members,
I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, if it is not, I kindly ask the mods to move this post to the right place.
First, let me start this post off by saying that it has been very informative and educational, not to forget hysterical to be a member of this forum. I have learned alot by the posts and have been educated by the members here on the whole online gaming industry. And I have been entertained a lot by the posts here also.
After this whole mess with EwalletXpress, and not being sure if I will ever get the 10 grand in my account, and all my withdrawals that are in "Limbo" it has just left a bad feeling in my stomach. I don't know who to blame, but I can tell you all I do take most of the blame. After all I was the one gambling.
These are just my opinion and feelings, nothing I say I can prove as fact but this is the way I feel about it. But what I do know as fact, is that credit should be given where credit is due.
Kudos, to Tom, the ClubWorld Rep. I have been amazed on how much he has helped me to figure out where my withdrawal was. I really do appreciate all the time and effort he put in to help me.
A BIG THUMBS UP to the Jackpot Capitol group. They were the first one to tell me that my withdrawal was sent back because EWX was down. Thanks for being straight up with me, I appreciate it.
Inetbet, not sure what to say. You say my withdrawal was processed on 11/17 and sent to EWX, EWX says it is not possible because they were down on the 15th at approximately 4 PM EST. And other withdrawals that I had from other casinos were sent back to my casino accounts on the 15th and 16th. How the one withdrawal with Inetbet went through on the 17th is still a mystery. I made my last deposit today with this casino until this gets sorted out.
Maybe it is time to hang up my 'online' gamling shoes for awhile to see where things are going. I do believe that on line gaming has changed. But the question is who do we blame? The casinos, the software providers, or ourselves. I think all of the above are to blame. The sad part is, the casinos are out to make money, and the software providers are the ones to ensure the casinos make money and we the players are the ones giving them our money. What a nasty cycle...
More and more, members are posting how horrible their play time has been and how it takes hundreds of spins to hit a bonus round. I to have had that happen, I won't name the casino but 213 spins to hit a feature and then get 6.50 for it, is pretty sad. Now I read that Betfair has actually gone back into a players bank account and took back their winning. What the hell is up with that? I see that nothing is safe anymore. How many times have you logged into a casino to find out there has been a new update? You can bet these new updates are not anything in the customers favor. I have only been gambling on line just a little over a year, and I am just sickened by all of this BS.
Then you have these new e-wallets, charging accounts 2 or 3 times for the same deposits and then get nasty when you go to live help to figure things out. After all, why should they be nice to you when you are pointing out that the e-wallet made a mistake. Who the hell are we to question the double charges on our bank accounts?
Lets not forget Quicktender, who now only lets you deposit with your credit/debit cards at certain times during the day. For the life of me I still can't figure this one out.
I really wonder, what recourse do we, as americans, have with these casinos and e-wallets? We really don't have any. They can steal from us, lie to our faces, and what can we do about it? We can stop playing at their establishment, never use that e-wallet again and that is about it. But if we as players band together and say F'em, there really is strength in numbers. Instead of lining their pockets with our money and fill our own bank accounts, don't you think these casinos and e-wallets will start to feel the pinch. I really think they would and we would start to see a change.
If I really wanted to jump through all these damn hoops, I would do it with my hubbys wallet, just to take Aunt Visa and Uncle Mastercard out for a shopping trip. Now that would be worth it because I would have something to show for it in the end. I don't gamble on line to make a living, I don't gamble with money that I don't have and I don't use credit cards to gamble. I have been fortunate to win 2 RJP in my short time gambling on line. But with that being said, I am still sickened to see what other members have been going through.
Okay, I think I am done with my venting. Again this is my thoughts and feelings. I really do hope we start to see a change for the better and the not the worst. But at this time, I don't see it coming in the near future.
All, the best,
LH
