Long Term relationship

Well yesterday was my anniversary, wow 32 years!

Any other long term marriages here at CM?

Congrats, and happy anniversary. Can't say that I've been with my wife that long but my heart knew about her from the moment I took my first breath <------yep, showing that to wife tonight! :xxx

17 years for my wife and I. Seems more like 17 months. Like the man (more or less) said, we may be crazy but we have a good time. :)

I've managed to stay out of marriage for longer than 32 years. Shouldn't that count for something too? :eek2:

It was a dream as a kid, as usually are for us women, when he would come there on his white horse...
He fell of it early on every time the poor guy, or lucky, depending on who you ask :p

I just noticed that I can't thank any posts since this is in political rants. Smart place for stuff like this;)

I have to add talking about children, that I do have managed to raze the most beautiful young woman who's 25 years old now.
What's better than a good relationchip to your children? That will last for as long as I live!

Congrats on 32...Been with my husband for 21 years....married 13...each of us had 2 boys who merged so well together people have no clue that they are not blood brothers...we always laugh when someone says I see the resemblance in one but not the other...I can say it was love at first sight and I feel extremely lucky to have found such a fun loving person to be with.

Me and Mrs Chopley had our 15th wedding anniversary last September, but we've been together for nearly twenty years.

Our first official date was my 20th birthday, and because we'd literally been an 'item' for only a few days my present from her was a £1 pint of pissy lager in the student union bar. Then when her birthday came around six months later we were more of a couple, so I felt the need to push the boat out and bought her a Sega Megadrive with Sonic The Hedgehog which cost nearly £200! (Which was basically a fifth of my student loan for the entire year gone.)

Still it seemed to do the job because here we are together twenty years later :D

Jim and I have been married for 22 years.

I left for 3 years but came back because I missed HIM...he is the most kindest but yet frustrating person ever! lol

Yet, I love him and glad I came back to him before he had his almost fatal heart attack.

We are , after 22 years of marriage, COMPROMISING!

Yes, it works ...if you let your defenses down and relax and think more about what is more important than your ego.;)

Great thread and congrats to you all!
