Hi i placed a football coupon bet on last night and all but 1 team was in i was watching 'live' updates on Ladbrokes site where it said my team was drawing all the 2nd half after the game i was looking through results and the games finished 2-3 to the other team

My team score 70th min and the other team 2 goals 83rd and 86th but yet it was 1-1 on their website all the way through so i didn't get a chance to put savers on and lock in a profit

Now here is my problem Ladbrokes and said that their t&c's cover them from this it's a 3rd party software not our responsibility but on the other side if i knew the real score and hammered the price which was 12/1 with 3 mins left their t&c's cover that which is not right imo

I put lots of business their way and yet get freerolled by them when it was their fault not mine so the situation is a win win for them and not for the customer

Ladbrokes are completely right. They say that the serve comes from elsewhere, which it does, and as such they cannot be responsible for its validity.

They also say

As indicated in the Errors section, any live scores displayed on the site during a bet in play event are for guidance purposes only.

There are numerous sources to view live football scores from. Alot will use the same "Top" feed and report the same errors as others.

Unlucky Wigan - I would keep livescore.com on at all times, they update the footy scores almost immediately - highly unlikely that a Ladbrokes shop would comp you something, as their main priorities for shop punters are the fixed odds games machines which they run at a ludicrous house edge!

Thanks Daz will save that website

I posted on a betting group im in and the same happened to one of the guys on there last week he got a free bet for it

The point is no comeback on their side but it's all on the punters i bet thousands with them every year and they have lost that now over a small bet and an error which is down to them yes i could and should have looked elsewhere but you expect a big site like them to keep scores updated for their punters

Whats the difference between the 2.7% house edge on Roullete online than the 2.7% house edge on the FOBT

But WHY would you when it says that the feed is nothing to do with them. They have warned you in advance.

I didn't get warned in advance though i have been a member for years and it wasn't in the t&c's then the first i knew was last night/this morning so does that mean i have to read the t&c's every week just incase they change them?

I'm not some guy who has just started betting i've been doing it years and i'm not after a free bet if Ladbrokes comeback and say they have got a system to update live scores which they do on there own i would go back betting with them

Thats been in there T&Cs AT LEAST 3 years.

End of the day, if they are using a third party feed, then they cannot be held responsible.

Dont forget, you say Lads are in a win win situation but if you bet a result say a win for the home team when in fact Lads were showing it was 1-1 but in fact at the time of your bet it was 1-2, you would recieve a refund. I know because its happened to me on the snooker.

I've been with them longer than 3 years quite a bit longer

People put bets on cause they think they can win like your snooker bet you didn't put it on to get a refund did you? Plus you would have got the wrong odds so yes it is a win win for them

A few times i've chased them up on refunds for bets on rugby league 1st try scorer if the player you bet on is a sub and any team scores before they come on the pitch you get a refund at least 5 times i chased them up this year to get it back

Well about 18 months ago they sent an email to say some of their T&Cs had changed and you had to acknowledge you had read and agreed to the new terms. Take it you didnt read it?

Not had any email off them about t&c's changing ever unless it went to my spam box which i don't read

It was a pop up when you logged in. Included the Dormant Account fees.

Nope don't remember anything like that happening the only thing that popped up was crappy casino offers in the little email thing

If you think this is a massive attack at them it's not like i've said i have bet with them for years good cs and fast payouts i don't take kindly to this sort of thing happening and them coming back with a poor excuse and everything covering them in the t&c's
