Jackpot factory's withdrawal is REALLY TERRIBLE.

Here is another example of a newbie member who feels that the forum rules do not apply to him.

When signing up in this forum, new members are required to read the rules. They indicate that they have by clicking the little box that says, I have read the rules. They are also PMd by Vortran who clearly states how complaints are handled in this forum. Apparently this new member has overlooked this.

DO NOT CIRCUMVENT THE COMPLAINT PROCEDURES BY POSTING COMPLAINTS IN THE WRONG SECTIONS
.
I'm getting REALLY confused now!

Earlier this week you quoted the rules (to another newbie) as saying:-
POSTING COMPLAINTS

Complaints can only be posted by Fully Registered members and above. To become a Fully Registered, one must have 50 reputation points, OR 100 posts, AND be a member for at least 30 days. When you become a Fully Registered member, these are the guidelines for complaints:

Complaints can only be posted in the Complaints Section. If you have a complaint concerning online casinos or poker rooms, please refer to our guidelines: MUST READ: Posting Your Complaint.
As DONGHEEIKIM is new, how is he supposed to 'post in the right section' :what:

Someone put me straight on this please! :eek2:

I know B is burning the candle at both ends right now trying to wrap up the Awards so I'll step in here and offer a few words:

As DONGHEEIKIM is new, how is he supposed to 'post in the right section' ....

He isn't supposed to post it, that's the point.
  • Complaints are supposed to be posted in the Complaints section.
  • Newbies are not allowed to post in the Complaints section.
  • Posting Complaints outside the Complaints section is verbotten.

Where is the confusion?
Not being permitted to do something does not mean "find another way to do the thing anyway": "no" means "no".

And at the risk of repeating myself, newbies _are_ allowed to PAB providing they follow the procedures there: see the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ.

Finally, once the OP has had a chance to read this and comment, or not as they see fit, one of us will be bumping this over to the Complaints forums where it belongs.

It appears there are two options.

....
He can either PAB or patiently wait for the casino rep to address this matter. .....

And for some reason, I get the feeling this one smells to high heaven... no offense to the OP.

Look, I'm not trying to stir the pot or anything, but you just said:-

... in reply to my post made AFTER the thread had already been moved to the complaints section.

Before that you said:

And previously Bryan said:
"DO NOT CIRCUMVENT THE COMPLAINT PROCEDURES BY POSTING COMPLAINTS IN THE WRONG SECTIONS"
and not:
"BECAUSE YOU ARE NEW HERE YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POST ANY COMPLAINTS ANYWHERE ON THE FORUM"

There's my confusion.

I totally respect Bryan & his right to have any rules he wants on his forum, but my opinion is this 'complaints rule' is daft. I'm sure most of the other regulars here want newbies to be able to post their gripes & groans - that's how many of us found our way here in the first place!

First off, Let me say this please. The majority of people came or sought help & found this forum due to an online gaming site. Most people that stay on do so for the great information that comes from these very people ( that is why I still read it ). As for this payout, I am not surprised. One, it is very high & they will most probably try to find ANY reason not to pay. If the continued to take your funds then with all due respect they should pay it & now !

Now, My bitch ! I find it very hard to swallow that they GAVE YOU a reward ( 150.00 ) for WINNING 8000.00+.. Oh, Don't get me wrong, I saw the screeshot, I believe it. I just find it a severe slap in the face to MANY players that feed them & lose their asses & never get a Thank you anymore.
Apparently they reward those that take them for thousands and ta'hell with those that play often & lose thousands. One would think they would want to keep players around by appreciating them as well. I suppose, they figure they want to please you more than 8000.00 * & make you happy enought to give it all back WHEN & IF YOU FINALLY GET IT...

I am certainly beginning to see the BIG picture & it sure the hell ain't pretty for long time players & supporters ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!

Just once, I would like to make or see a recent post that says JPF has done something good for some of their long time supporters who haven't won big ! Been so long, Christmas & New Years went past, Nothing good and now I see this.... Such a shame for a place that once had such a good reputation, that greed and rudeness has taken over like so many others.

I BEEN THERE

What I find curious is why DONGHEEIKIM opened another account after "forgetting" his/her password. Why not just call/email customer support for help to reset your current password?

In reading the terms and conditions quoted here about having one account, it seems the casino is correct in barring you from their site. I believe there is more behind the scenes info in this case than a simple "I forgot my password so I created a new account" Why would a player risk over $55K by breaking one of the terms of agreement just for a simple password issue?

edit I just read that The Jackpot Factory was awarded Best Casino Group 2008 by Bryan.
Hmmm and DONGHEEIKIM's mission is to shut them down?

I see a lot of problems with this complaint. But number one, to me, is the fact that if newbie should not be posting a complaint,, then those of us who have been members for a while, should not be replying to said complaint. I do see some problems with newbies not being able to post complaint, but I also agree that contacting rep or PAB first, is a much better option. But this really only works with accredited casinos. Unfortunately my first time here was because I was ripped off by Virtual Casino Group. I knew nothing about this site or really about online gambling when I came here. AFTER I got ripped off I did an internet search and was LUCKY enough to find Casinomeister. YEAH!! But I was totally confused on the site and posted in the wrong place, but turned out to be the right place because it was a rogue casino. But I did not know that until I found Casinomeister. So thanks to all of you at Casinomeister, and I myself will not reply to any posting that are not allowed (after this) until the situation is resolved. Happy New Year All

Reply from David Brickman at the Jackpot Factory

Hi everyone,

Unfortunately this case went on far too long before being brought to my attention. It was a classic case of miscommunications between departments. No excuses, we dropped the ball.

That being said, I am happy to let everyone know we have closed the case with DONGHEEIKIM. As always, due to player confidentiality I am not at liberty to disclose the resolution. If this player would like to let everyone know about it he is obviously more than welcome too.

All the best,

David Brickman
VP of Player Affairs

Thanks for your post Mr. Brickman. Unfortunately, Mr. Kim cannot respond to this thread, due to restrictions on new members and posting in the complaints forum. I respect your decision not to discuss a customer's business in a public forum.

Perhaps one of the moderators could ask him by PM is he would like to include a statement, and include a quote on his behalf?

Turns out the player was guilty of account fraud, multiple counts.
