Jackpot.com, run by LottoMatrix Limited will not accept a valid UK provisional license as a form of ID. Has anyone ever had this refused before? My passport expired like 6 months ago so I have no ID other than the provisional license.

Might just add that they ignored UKGC regulations by allowing me to gamble without verifying me in the first place. I could not be bothered to do anything about that, uploaded my ID, and they are now refusing that.

Asked their CS who their ADR are, and they replied telling me they have no idea what an ADR is. That is to put into perspective how bad they are.

They’ve almost certainly performed electronic verification on you.

Provisional licences are often rejected as proof of ID in various sectors for nebulous reasons. Not much help, I know, but you’re almost certainly going to have to get hem to explain what other ID they will accept.

These regulations were supposed to prevent this, but it seems casinos just say ''we done a soft check, but need more info' so they can go back to stalling withdrawals. The withdrawal is only £100, so it is not like it is a huge withdrawal to trigger a more detailed check.

I have no other ID. Never had this issue with any casino. I am not really into jumping through all these hoops for such a small amount.

I will perhaps contact the UKGC and have them confirm to me that the provisional license is a valid form of ID and then pass it on. The casino is using the excuse of they have to follow regulations. I am sure the UKGC will confirm a provisional is acceptable if I ask them. The way the casino is acting, I do not think they will accept that though. I am very doubtful they are going to pay out regardless of what I give them.

A lot of casinos won't recognise provisional as I. D. However the majority of UK licenced casinos do a soft credit check to check your identity, so they may be able to accept proof of address only.

They won't because they are doing this to avoid paying out or stalling.

It is recognised in the LCCP as an acceptable form of ID. Any casino not accepting it is doing it to be awkward and stall. They did a soft check but still want ID because I have exceeded the threshold withdrawal of £45. Yes, £45 is apparently the threshold they set to do a full check and demand all ID.

If its a UK issued photo card then it should be accepted. If its the old style (which I think i sextremely unlikely) then they are right not to accept it.
