Jackpot Capital, Slotastic & friends - licensing info?

I'm trying to find out where or even if the following casinos are licensed.

Jackpot Capital
From their website: "Jackpot Capital is operated and owned by Greavestrend Ltd., Agiou Eleftheriou, 74A, Archangelos, Strovolos, P.C. 1055 Nicosia, Cyprus, a registered company licensed by the government of Cyprus." The way I read that it does not say the casino is licensed to operate there, and I'm fairly sure that it can't be since the government banned all online gambling apart from sports betting with OPAP last year.
CM's database says: Cyprus
Their server IP says: Curacao

Slotastic
Their website says: "Slotastic (further referred to as 'the Casino') is operated and owned by Orange Consultants Ltd., registered by the government of the British Virgin Islands." Gambling is illegal in the BVI and they do not license casinos there. This thread on the subject at the GPWA died unanswered in 2010:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

CM's database says: Costa Rica
Their server IP says: Curacao

Grande Vegas
Their website says: "Grande Vegas Casino (further referred to as 'the Casino') is operated and owned by Tigress Management Ltd., registered by the government of the British Virgin Islands." Same as Slotastic.
CM's database says: Curacao
Their server IP says: Curacao

Lucky Club
Their website says: nothing of any use that I could find
CM's database says: not accredited
Their server IP says: Curacao

It doesn't look to me like any of them are licensed anywhere. They are clearly being served from Curacao, but it is unusual to find casinos from there that do not link to an accreditation or list the company name.

If anyone could help me out and shed some light on this it would be appreciated.

Edit: I have PM'd the Jackpot Capital rep so hopefully they can help me out here.

These casinos really are having trouble knowing where they are licensed.

Lucky Club Casino didn't pass their BoF when they couldn't decide which group (and license) they belong to:

Liberty Slots definately can't decide which license they are using.

Allyoubet seems to be using Grande Vegas support but are using odds from Intertops. Allyoubet aren't showing licensing info either.

Players still deposit at places like this, that's why they can continue with this kind of business.

I wasn't familiar with Allyoubet. Is that another one run by the same people? I thought or perhaps assumed that Intertops indirectly owned all of the above casinos, so its no surprise if it is using casino support from one and sports odds from another. Their site says "All You Bet is registered by the government of the British Virgin Islands" which again implies no license.

To be honest, if casinos are licensed in Curacao or not at all, does it really matter? The licenses are just a phone call away and rarely if ever does Curacao's licensing body know who they really are giving the licenses to

I agree to a certain extent with regards to Curacao but I would at least like to know one way or the other so that I can make informed decisions and provide accurate information to visitors to my site, one of which queried one of these with me. I don't like being unable to give a definitive answer!

There have been threads about these before, here are some of my posts about them:

Where a casino has their license, or IF they have a license, is to me really important. I can't understand how people/players/affiliates can support behaviour as unlicensed casinos are using. Casinos who hide their license information are as bad.

Nobody is saying a casino shouldn't be licensed - I was saying a Curacao license is not much better (if any) than having no license at all. Please tell me the benefits for you as an affiliate or player when playing at a casino with a Curacao license?

For me, as a player, the license lets me know that the operator made some kind of investment to get their casino up and running and there is at least some third party who has an asset which can be 'pulled' should the casino ever go totally bad. Admittedly, the latter does not seem happen even with the roguest of rogues.

The lack of clear licensing info would make me suspect that the establishment has done something that would make that licensing jurisdiction lose confidence in them.

I agree. While Curacao is a weak jurisdiction, getting a license shows that the casino is at least attempting to do things the right way. The ones that go to great lengths to hide their ownership almost always accept American customers, so its clear why they do that. Not that it excuses them or makes it acceptable.

I see the Jackpot Capital rep has read the thread so hopefully we'll have our answer soon.

I'll have to take the silence to mean only one thing: they ain't licensed anywhere.

What is the problem zanzibar?

If it makes anydifference to you or help, I have been playing at Jackpot Capital even before they were on Casinomeister's accredited list.

In those years I have never had a problem depositing and withdrawing (rarely) and imho have one of the best CS around . Again , if it helps , I think they had bought out a casino
aAcasino I used to play at. I also know that slotastic is closely affiliated with them

As for Desert Night and lucky club , I don'r know how thew relationships work out so I don't play there

And to be flip about it what difference does it make whether theyare licensed or not? AT least you get paid when you win. There are several casinos who gladly take your deposit abut its like pulling teeth when it comes to withdrawing

If you read back near the start of the thread Zanzibar said why it was important for him to know. Maphesto and I also said why it could be important.

Another thing I notice is sometimes when people come onto the forum and make a complaint they are sometimes chastised for not doing research into licensing and connections before they deposit.

In your own experience have you ever tried to cash out a large win? Say $10,000?

Have you ever had a substantial software failure where something went wrong and upon return your balance was not what it should be?

I'm not saying there would be a problem with either of these scenarios but clear licensing and affiliations certainly add to the casinos perceived reliability and provide more avenues for resolution to any potential problems.

I would say they're definitely not licensed anywhere. Once online gaming becomes legal in U.S., these type of casinos will lose significant business. At that point, I would not trust depositing there any longer.

Bigjohn , did you interpret my msg as chastisizing OP? I just gave him info based on my experience
No never cashed out 10k but sonmeone just did last week, I think it was secret and it took less than 10 days
No never had problen with software
Only complaint i have is that ridiculous 60x wr for any free bonus except the comp cash which is real cash

No problem. Like I said I was asked by someone and couldn't find the answer so I hoped someone else here might have been able to shed some light on it. People regard the importance of licensing differently, to some its important, to others it isn't. At least with the information out there people can make an informed decision. If you relied on the websites of the casinos or even the information here or on other affiliate sites, you would be almost certain to get the wrong impression.

I am actually quite surprised that they aren't licensed, as I agree that they are generally well run and reliable, at least as far as casinos that serve Americans go.

I am not familiar with the licensing issues but I wonder why the UK cannot grant licences given that they have such a liberal online gambling policy. Given the cosy relations between the UK and US players from the latter country might benefit as the Government may adopt a loose policy if that materializes.

Living in the USA i would really hate to see JC group be taken off the accredited list. I finally found a way to deposit that doesnt cost $45 at a time and even though i feel the slots are somewhat tight i dont worry i would be paid.My docs are already approved so im good to go. If something happens and they do get taken off i would not play there anymore and that would be another blow. Its already hard enough to find a good casino:(.(IMO)
