I don't disagree with much of that, but a lot of what streamers do is wrong, playing with fake money etc, showing massive wins. Showing a massive win gets people to play a slot they might not have.
There are limits to what I would do to make money, I like money, but I also like not wondering if I've caused someone to become a gambling addict by show completely unattainable wins to get them hooked. Same sort of reasons as if I found a wallet in the street with £1000 in, it would be handed in, or when a cashier gives me too much change, I've always handed it back, as I know it would likely come out of her wages.
In regards to the streamers, when i said i,m on the fence, i was talking about genuine streamers who play at licenced casinos.
I only watch, the Bandit and Rolla and enjoy their content, mainly because i believe they are playing with their own cash Plus they upload videos win or lose, keeping it real.
I have no issue that their play is funded by affiliation, it's not something i would do, but fair play to them. If they get 30% of my deposits, it makes no odds to me as it has not cost me any extra money.
As for the likes of Rosh and Chip etc, i think it's disgraceful the way they portray Gambling in such an unrealistic way, every video with massive wins and mega bets and i do pity the people that do not realise that they are playing with fake money.
In an ideal world casino's should not be allowed to fund streamers full stop and should be fined.
