I have had Jackpot Capital on my computer for a year or so, but I had not played it in quiet a while. after seeing them on the accredited list I went there this morning and started playing some Caribbean hold em.
I noticed (as we all have from time to time) some amazing beats gong on .
but this one takes the cake!Old Attachment (Invalid)

I think two or three hands before this that I had another "fishy one" but I didn't catch it in time.
I think my 2 pair had the dealers pair of tens. LOL :what:

I have not contacted them yet, due to the fact that (as I just noticed )there is no link for live chat or really anyway of contacting them will you are in the game.
has anyone else experienced this ?

Rick

Wow...

I'd get in touch with them asap about this...if it's broke there, it's broke at all RTG's..

Hopefully this is just a display bug and instead of showing 9T they showed TT..

Please let us know how this works out

edit: I just noticed the tens were suited.. It definitely seems as if it is a display bug, and one of the cards should have been the 9 of spades.

Yeah kinda defeats the object though doesn't it?

Better to just have no graphics and text, "You lost, again"

Since it is impossible for the player to know if the game is functioning correctly (The only evidence suggests not) I would be demanding my money back frankly.

Glad to see Jackpot Capital is responding to the issue.

This is not the first screenshot we have seen of a "display error" and I don't think it is a case of "just".

What if the player's hole cards were not displayed correctly? That would greatly influence your play, perhaps leading you to play the hand incorrectly.

I feel that the game should temporarily be suspended until this problem is tracked down and solved in the software.

In the mean time, I'd ask for a review of all my recent Texas Holdem play.

Query's findings

Hi there,

The casino provider's query on the Caribbean Hold'em game/screen shot posted by Voltage1 has concluded with the following findings:

The 2 dealer cards are actually 9 of diamonds and 10 of spades (dealt in that order) - what happens is that once the CALL is made the player and dealer hands get re-arranged based on their ranking (left to right, highest to lowest), you can actually see this animation when this occurs, its very fast under a client that is performing normally. Based on this flow of logic its our belief that at this point one of two things happened:

1 - The player's PC was slow at the time of the call and the graphics were not completely refreshed at the time when the player captured the screen shot.
2 - The graphics for the cards were not refreshed properly on the player computer, again due to some graphic glitch.

Unfortunately its nearly impossible to troubleshoot a players PC in order to find out what exactly happened, but again we wish to assure everyone that this is not something that was initiated on the casino side of things.

I do hope this helps to clear up any doubts or concerns about this case.

Please feel free to contact us should you have any further queries.

Kind regards,
Yasmeen :)

Roguelist it?

OMG IMAGINE IF U HAD BET THE TABLE MAXIMUM AND RAISED!
Seriously when does a card change suit anyway lol seems like an illogical explanation...

is this really a "glitch" hmm seems profitable for the casino....
i like how you say everything that might of went wrong on the player's computer but you dont take anything into account that could be wrong on your side with the rtg software...bonus bingo still pays a bit fishy on rtg

I have a problem with #2....if this is the case, then the method used to refresh these or any other images in a game needs to be re-designed so "glitches" like this doesn't occur, no matter how fast or slow the player's computer is..

And as for #1, it is blatantly apparent that this SS was taken after the hand was over, so there's no reason that these cards should have not been refreshed by that point. The player's bet was already removed from the table and the "rebet" button was already highlighted, which further proves that the hand was 100% complete by the time of the SS.

There's no reason for RTG to take the glitch lightly, pass it off as a problem on the player's computer and do nothing about it.

It's the operators that have to pay for this glitch, as they're always going to be having to put out these fires when they come along; and it's always going to leave the affected players wondering if in fact they are getting a fair game.

What happens if this glitch rears its ugly head during a hand when the player hits the progressive? Is RTG going to claim that the game malfunctioned and not pay the player?

update

Yasmeen,
Thanks for your reply on this matter.
However , I have since had 2 or 3 more similar instances. I have taken several more screen shots of these. On these,I could tell what happened, It was like the cards did not clear when they were rearranged in the proper order. The " call " was made properly by the computer, as to the winner of the hand, but there was a rouge card floating at the end (right). That is were the same suited card came from, in this case the 10 of clubs.Old Attachment (Invalid)

and in the following screen shot the 10 of diamonds

Old Attachment (Invalid)

Also, it seems to only happen to the dealers cards, not mine . If it were my graphics card it seems to me it would have trouble rendering the entire screen, not just one part .
So that's why I kinda doubt it was on my end.
Also, I play this game A lot on many different sites, and I have never had it happen before, Ever.

So you might want to keep an eye on this for a while. It seems to be just a graphics glitch, but unless someone is really paying attention all that they are going to see is a "BAD BEAT" and then you are gonna have people pissed off at your site.

I would like to point out that Jasmeen gave me a bonus for my trouble and I appreciate that very much
I'll just stay away from Caribbean Draw poker on your site for a while .

Thanks
Voltage :)
