I was just thinking about how since my government chased off all the regulated casinos and we're only left with flipping Betsoft et al how much I miss the good providers, btg, netent and heck, even mg.
Well not so much mg.
Point is; I was thinking I would just about pay someone $100 to play those games, stream it, and go 50/50 on any winnings.
And then I thought, what if someone set up a stream where they just take a bunch of peoples "donations", and people can vote on what games to play based on how much they donated, then any winnings gets split up proportionally to how much you donated at the end?

It would allow people from ass backwards countries to see the good games again and have a stake in the outcome instead of just passively watching streams.

Or is this already a thing/highly illegal?

I suggested this somewhat years ago on here but that was or would be only with long time senior members on here. :)

Also it would be a headache trying to figure payouts and payment options and currency exchange.

You would have to ask @colinsunderland about the legal stuff.

The stuff they do on streams nowadays is pretty advanced, I'm sure it's technically possible.. it would just be a legal minefield I guess.

It would also be a scam in the making.

"Yo! Send me your money and I'll play these games for ya!"

Yeah. Right.

Yeah. Right.

Yeah you'd obviously need someone reputable, but if they were getting 20% of all deposits or something they'd have to be pretty silly to kill the goose that laid the golden egg and do a runner with one sessions deposits.

I'm presuming this is in the US so I wouldn't know the legality :(

And what about AML regulations? If one person receives lots of 'donations' from unregulated/unknown sources then sends money back out - possibly to an entirely different bank account from where it came, I am sure financial institutions may want to step in and freeze assets until it is clarified.

Interesting idea, but realistically only possible between a handful of known friends and not from a public forum!

Seems like a good idea, as streaming is a highly respectable medium, nor can I envisage any upcoming problems with various members' financial participation in this group setting.

PM Playford and he'll try and get the ball rolling

I'm pretty there sure there are, or were, streamers that are bankrolled by a 3rd party. And I don't mean a casino but a "company".

Alot of poker players have backers so there must be a legal way to do it.

That's sorted then. Henceforth we shall have a monthly extravaganza, we'll call it The CM Communal Camaraderie Capers whereby we all chip in between 5 and 20 Euros, then watch Rosh do our bidding and live out our dreams

Payments and any subsequent winning will be distributed back among the viewership, provided they pass the SoW AND SoF

I had hoped playford would do the streaming with his dog assisting.

Casumo will do the paperwork for the SOW and then probably keep all the money.

We will need a large room to put all the relatives in whilst we interrogate them as to their wealth too. I will make a packed lunch:)

And you you wonder why regulators make casinos SOW customers! Imagine the traffic of complaints (I didn’t receive my fair share) didn’t play the game I requested haha then they would all want to do a PAB

My own thoughts back when some countries got banned I thought one way around was to just Paypal a very trusted friend in another country, he withdraws it to his bank, then makes a deposit to the casino, then he sets up a remote desktop connection with Teamviewer / RDP / Real VNC etc etc, you play the slots through remote desktop, win then he withdraws the winnings then once he get's them he Paypal's them to you.

Talking of streamers that i don't really watch.

Some people say they can be annoying the way they act. Nothing compared to one that popped up on a youtube feed so i checked it out. Can't understand a word as he is screaming in some foreign accent but how can some watch a streamer screaming and jumping about non stop . Never saw anything so pathetic in my life. He was called Knossi.

So hope if you ever stream Playford you are nothing like that guy on air.
