Immortal Romance

358 spins tonight on a straight £50 deposit playing 30p per spin.

One bonus round, paid 18x stake. (I chose the rolling reels one just 'cause it tends to last longer.)

Try choosing Sarah or Troy instead....they are higher variance, and strangely seem to have a higher RTP as well.

Trying to upload an image, but I seem to have reached my KB limit - anyone knows how I delete old images??

Anyway, my stats so far (betting 30):
Normal spins: 405013 (RTP: 0.6444, Max Win: 8350)
Amber: 672 (RTP: 40.1138, Max Win: 14450)
Michael: 608 (RTP: 38.8874, Max Win: 7996)
Sarah: 612 (RTP: 43.1071, Max Win: 27342)
Troy: 610 (RTP: 41.4684, Max Win: 22865)
WildDesire: 998 (RTP: 27.3522, Max Win: 50625)

You shouldn't need to delete anything - I've been here 8 years uploading shots all the time & don't have this problem.
Send a PM to CM and ask him to increase your allocated upload space. Shouldn't be a problem.

kktmd will be very limited on upload space until his account moves out of 'new member' status, it takes 30 days IIRC.

Sounds like my run at 32red. When you're done ask the CSR for your RTP.
You should try it elsewhere (ie: RedBet) just to see if you get similar results.

I've decided to be a total masochist and carry on exactly as I am :D

Fairly regular £50 or £100 deposits at 32Red, 30p play on IR, and nothing else.

I shall track my results in this thread.

After 450k spins, Sarah JumpingWild is still looking like a winner (RTP: 43.2004). Michael ReelSlide is still trailing the pack, although not quite as far behind (RTP: 39.7225).

31% of the RTP comes from the bonusrounds (and WildDesire), so its important to pick the winner :)

RTP distributed by the hour of the day (GMT+1). Dont play at night :)

I'm guessing it will even out over time.

(Sorry about the messy layout - I cant attach images)

Very interesting reading kktmd
you should totally do TS2 next, would be interesting to see if it does ever drop 3/4 reel wildstorms, also a comparison of Loki's wild magic vs Thor's rolling reels.

On a slightly related note could the simulated play technique you use be applied to tournaments? could possibly have found an explanation to the "cheaters" referred to in THIS thread.

Actually, I'd be more curious to learn more about BSG myself

I'm currently at about 560k spins. I'll let it run to 1 mio, and look at TS2 and BSG next.

I've never played tournaments, but if there are advantages to "fast" spins, this would be one way of doing it. There are much easier ways to achieve this, though.
Cheaters are probably using a tool like CheatEngine (cheatengine.org). With this, you can speed up (or slow down) any process - making it very easy to speed up (or slow down) you MG client. This would be virtually impossible for the casino to detect (except that the requests would be coming in too fast of course). It can be used with any Flash based casino client....can probably also be used with the full (installed) version of the casino software.

I should stress that i am definitely against cheating fellow players like this :-(

There's always the danger to switch to fun mode and get 4 or 5 wild reels on Wild Desire ;)

That would ruin the week!

565k games at 0.30:
1-wild: 599 games (TRP: 4.0704, max win:1500)
2-wild: 719 games (TRP: 24.4109, max win:6750)
3-wild: 81 games (TRP: 161.9593, max win:16263)
4-wild: 3 games (TRP: 1672.5000, max win:51300)

Not really enough games to support this, but I'd guess that you get a 4-wild every 150k games (someone else posted this number previously). I'm guessing a 5-wild comes along every 4-5 mio games.

For my benefit as these 'random' slots seem to chuck a 4-wild desire 'about every 150000 spins' could you blow my suggestion out of the water. My suggestion was that you would NOT hit a huge payout like that until you had lost more or near enough that amount, i.e. you wouldn't hit a 4-reel WD feature in the first few hundred or few thousand spins. On your 560k spins, WHEN did the first one appear, and what was your net loss when it hit? If this info is too much hassle please ignore, but I'd be interested to know.
The reason is (as Chopley also suggested) is there is too many damn coincidences....
I have played numerous 'fresh' IR slots at new casino accounts, and have noticed a pattern. The first 10 or so seem 'stuck' at 2 reels wild and lining up with 9's/10's for 9 x lowest 5-line win 3 or 4 times and the other 6 out of the first 10 are either nil or 1-3 credit shitters. Your gameplay seems to have to 'mature' a while before getting the more substantial hits. I know someone will pipe up that they had a 4-reel 3000-1 hit within 20 spins of their first play of their IR at xxxxx casino, but I have my suspicions...:what:

I hit a 4 wild one in the first week or two of release, in one of my first ten sessions, which would have probably been no more than 3-5000 spins in total. Could be less, as I keep my sessions on high variance games fairly short e.g. a fixed amount of money. It paid about 1000xbet from memory, as all symbols on reel 5 were crappy.

I think I still have the screenshot somewhere if you like.

Suffice it to say, I'm not a subscriber to the "RNG has a memory" theory. I've had very big hits in my first ever session on slots, such as a rabbit one in MGS flash where I hit 600xbet on my 3rd spin ever with gazillions of stacked wilds.

Bottom line is that gaming operators don't need to go to all these lengths to control the games and produce a reliable RTP....for the extra few parts of a percent that they might get from doing it, they could be robbing themselves by removing the natural swings from the reels themselves.

If there was a valid and commercially worthwhile reason to incorporate all these fudging methods, I might be swayed into at least considering them....but I haven't seen one yet.

Yup, I've hit my first 4-reel WD when I was definately 'up' on the game, and I can mention a few more members here who got huge hits early on.
If I remember right Pinababy got a 4 reel WD on her very first go on the slot.

Altough I'm not 100% convinced of the truly randomness of MG slots, I'm sure they are NOT compensated on accountbasis, I'm sure every player has the same chances of hitting big, no matter what your personal previous results have been on a game.

I have had 4 reel wild 3 times and at bet365 when that happend it was the first time i played it, i was still to get my first bous round, and only about 25-30 spins in :)

Tonight's session. Not a bust!

Can't be arsed slotting anymore though today, time to get the headphones on and get some trance going.

Chopley, how do you keep track of your stats? Do you use use the installed version of the MG client or the Flash (browser) version?

I've got the downloaded Viper client installed on my media centre PC (I'm not sacrificing over 10GB of precious space on the SSD on my main gaming PC :D). I use the client's own stats for total spins and highest reel win, and I record bonus rounds and Wild Desires in Notepad.

I literally just type them in as they happen basically, nothing too hi-tech.

The only thing I'm missing really are the play logs, I've got an Excel spreadsheet I can plug logs into that works out RTP, tracks highest win and suchlike.

I may ask for my logs from 32Red at some point and whack them in to get the complete picture.

Nice :)

I have a small logger that plugs into Firefox that autorecords spins to a CSV file, but it sounds like you have thing covered :)
