hi
in october i played mummy's gold casino,i deposited 50$ and received a 100$...off course i checked the terms, and european blackjack, but not vegas strip black jack was allowed in order to meet the wagering requirementt (counting 1/4)
so i played and request a withdrawal of 370$
well...at the beginning they asked me by mail for more documents to confir my id...then after more than 2 weeks in chat they told me that blackjack is not allowed to meet the wagering requirements...i checked the terms and condition and...magic!!!they are changed!!!
but they say that the last time they changed the terms was in august...
not true,on 17 october they were different than now,100% sure...
somebody can help me?somebody played mummys gold in that period?Bryan?

This is the EXACT reason why CM tells everyone to take screenshots of T&Cs BEFORE they play. It would also not hurt to confirm everything with live chat and keep a copy of the session also before you play. I know, I know, when you want to play you don't want to spend a hour or so covering your a$$, but when you win, isn't it great to have some proof of the terms you won with and be able to counter changed terms?

I know there's a website out there that holds cached pages, but for the life of me I can't remember the name or URL.

Ahhh, it just came to me ... it's

I think it goes under another name too, but you might want to put the casino's URL into it and see if they have cached pages from after that date you mentioned.

EDIT: I actually checked it myself for you, but the most recent cached page is from November 28, 2004 and I assume your October date is from this year. Sorry.

EDITx2: Are you sure you're correct about the No Vegas Strip BJ? I've got an Excel file that says nothing about that particular rule, though back in June (when the Excel file was last updated) any form of blackjack was allowed. And the November 28, 2004 cached page is no help as it says no form of blackjack is allowed. Sorry x2.

yes im pretty sure about that...i ve found another player who told me that 1 nov 2005 the terms were as i said...and 2 nov they were magically changed...i played in october so the terms have not been changed when i was playin, but when my cash in was processed...this explainin why they asked me documents and then told me:ops,u have not met the wagering requirements...
any suggestion to get this money?i dont want to do again the playthrough...
should i wait for bryan to help me someway?any suggestion is very welcome...

We all know what will happen if you play a different game to meet WR again. :(

I would ask Bryan first - he may suggest a P.A.B.
(I think he might be 'out of the office' at the moment - haven't seen any Meister's posts for days!)

If you really want any chance of keeping your money, be patient.
Do not play ANY more at this casino until this is resolved one way or another.

Me again! ;)

Just got home from work & checked my spreadsheet of all MG casinos that I complied a year ago.
My records say that NO BLACKJACK is allowed in WR.
I think it unlikely that they would have changed their T&C's to allow it, then take it off again, so I guess you must have somehow been mistaken about what you thought you saw...?
Maybe you were looking at a number of different casino's just before you signed up?

Looks like you're heading for the slots!!! :D Good luck!

PS: Suzecat is spot on - I now ALWAYS take screenshots of the T&C's before I join any new casino.

wait, this seems strange... cause the casino itself admits the terms and conditions were changed in august, and before august blackjack was allowed (countin 1/4)...
so there are two possibilities...
1- mummy's gold changes the rules about black jack very often, so when u compiled your list blackjack was not allowed, then allowed again, then again not and so on...before august was allowed, but maybe before january not...who knows?
2- u made a mistake in compiling your list
but i think is the number one...
nobody played in mummys gold in the period of mid octobert?
any help very welcome...

i know they are accredites by casinomeister...thats why im so surprised...im pretty sure and as i told before i ve found another player who got the same problem...i left for him a message in another forum and im waitin for a reply...
and i will wait for casinomeister to come back...and if somebody played mummys gold casino in october, please post a message here!!!

Why should people have to do this shit to play online? So many obsticles. faxing id's, stalled payouts, bogus policies, unwanted reversals.

Geez why the heck do any of us play online? This is just too much shit to deal with. I think im done with online casinos.

The Pitch a Bitch section will be back up and running probably later today. Feel free to fill that out and I'll get it off right away.

Yeah, I've been gone as mentioned many times in the forum :D

Sorted

OK, this is sorted and explained in detail to rosella in a pm. I would like to add the following information for everyone's general knowledge. Our casino group are making use of software (CMS system as well Source Safe) that enables us to go back in history of all website changes. This allowed me to get the details about this issue on when the T&C was changed. We both had valid issues and we decided that instead of steering into a stand-off for no reason we will honor the cash-in. I have explained the reason why we feel we will pay this out to rosella in a PM. To my opinion both of us are perfectly happy about the resolution.

I had the exact same problem

Only I was playing video poker instead of blackjack, then was advised that all poker games count later down the line after several requests to customer service about my wagering requirements.

Eventually after four terrible experiences with their so-called customer service including a complaint to the manager, and talking to two supervisors, I decided I might as well give up and try to clear it as slots, since it was the only thing left listed that was clearable at normal wager requirements.

I feel like I was bilked out of $400.

I haven't actually looked into this but they went through a period a couple of years ago where they changed wagering requirements each day seemingly to catch people out (went from normal requirements to half and then to a third in almost successive days. See bottom of page 6 on this thread:

There have been a lot of problems with this group with promotional issues (not just that thread obviously- this is another

)

A couple of years ago I played at a sister site (Jackpots in a Flash) and they didn't send my winnings cheque and seemed to hope I'd forget it. It was only £50 I think but they only sent it the day or so after I queried it over a month later (mid June). I asked them why it took so long and they said it was sent in April and could have been delayed in the post. This was either a mistake or a lie because the date on the cheque was a few days before I received it in mid June! They obviously only sent it after I asked where it was.

Hi BBKPoker

If you PM me your information I'll look into it for you.

Sirius, your remarks regarding Jackpotsinaflash and Mummysgold are uncalled for. Although Winner online is not one of my favourite forums, the situation should never have been discussed on there the way it was. Back then there was no representation on behalf of the casinos, and there was nothing fair about ripping any one apart if they had no say in it. Being part of the group I can assure you there is nothing suspicious here. It was purely a case of the T&C being overlooked for the specific promotion. With regards to your own claim... doesn't make sense to me, but it was probable a mistake made by an individual and now became a rock to bounce of the group.

BTW as far as I know rosella did receive the cashin.

I doubt you are aware of the problem. It was not as you claimed. They were removing bonuses unfairly and Lew Koor stopped replying to my emails and didn't answer the question as to how many people they did that to. The one on winneronline was resolved but the reason I had them dumped was due to the bonus issues and was really nothing to do with my experience (although it happened at about the same time and I mentioned it as a reason on winneronline).

The casino management was able to reply to that forum if they wanted to but didn't do so. Later they started at times to change terms very often and caused a bigger mess. It seems like the same thing is still happening a couple of years on judging by these recent posts.

sirius, I understand the points you are making. You are correct I wasn't with the group back then but I am now. I see how things are done here and to me it speaks of integrity and trust. Lew Koor is one of the most decent people I know and this is no bum kissing contest. I might not be the official PR correspondent for the group but I can assure you I would not be on this forum linking my name to them if I thought they were a risky group. The previous incedents to me is water under the bridge and I am looking ahead. All I am asking you,... is to do the same. We have gone through allot of effort to handle these situations beter in the future and have always put our players before ourselves provided they are not taking chances :D
