The emails say it all:

Do you reward depositing players with a cash back, no deposit free chip or just with more deposit match bonuses? For example, if I deposit $50 and play it through, will I find a no deposit cash back free chip in the "promotions" section of the cashier in the near future or just more deposit match bonus offers?

As I made two deposits yesterday, when does the cashback for those deposits apply? And why would you send someone a notice claiming that $0 has been deposited into their account? You may submit a reply here:

https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...ck-deposited-to-my-cocoa-casio-account.25974/

There may be others interested in your response to my questions, as well.

lol If you receive that email, I would hope you do! I've had as well, but not when the email notified me. And I can never pass up an opportunity to let the casino view it's stupidity as others may, that they may be discouraged from more stupidity.

It would have been fine and dandy if 'promotions' had not been included in Cocoa's cashback formula.

Agreed and you summed it up excellently. That is the issue with Pantasia's new formula also, plus the fact that their terms and conditions aren't updated to cover that. I pointed it out several times........but the response I got was.....pretty much tough shite.

It's all about more profit for them
and yes I know they are in the business of making money, nothing wrong with that, but what about loyalty?
 I've heard it said in other places that some of the Rival's weren't making the profit they wanted to make so they had to cut back on things, especially No Deposit bonuses, but who knows?

If you are a new player.....then I guess you would assume things are pretty good because you don't know what they offered before.
In my experience with some of the other player software platforms, Rivals have rewarded me much more for being loyal than others, but I think that is probably going to be a thing of the past.

Seems I made it to "Ultra Titanium Mega Bling-Bling VIP" level at Pantasia and Paradise 8 only to find payouts were slower and bonuses suck. IMHO, the best Rival by far is Sloto'cash. Absolutely no BS with them. Sorry if this sounds like a shill.....it's just my experience.

Well, if you did, they are not, if "all" was meant to include a cash back bonus. Currently, there are 3 deposit match bonuses residing in the "PROMOTIONS" box on my "Cashier and Control Panel" page.
Had a client of mine been been so stupidly misinformed, TWICE, no less than one VP, five managers and approx. thirty supporting personnel (per VP, or so) would have had cleaned out their desks and been escorted out of the building by, lets see, its 09:21:00 AM now in Beverly Hills so I'd make a conservative estimate of, oh, roughly no later than 09:21:00:00:00:01 (trillionths of a second - at least that's how fast neurologists agree any given decision might be made by any reasonably healthy primate of average intelligence. Though in this particular instance, I think even I could top that)!!!
What I don't know: Practically anything about the mechanics of an online, business tech glitch or what anyone making at least a million dollars a year less than any executive's assistant in my company had better know and have handled way before his boss ever even comes close to hearing about it.
What I do know: The original problem (Subject: Re: RE: Your cash back bonus has arrived! [Issue #397625] F.Y.I. ) occurred because some idiot assumed that something that was supposed to be somewhere actually made it there with out having someone, anyone, check to make sure it got there before telling the mother(original modified here for CM)king (we normally do not asterisk here unless there is the chance that this my be viewed in a country where making light references to such a parental/offspring activity may be considered in poor taste due to the fact that "mother(original modified here for CM)king" is either considered by the local "natives" to be either sacred or is the national pastime) client that "...it actually did get there and that, holy of holys, it is there right now! Woo hoo!"
What is even dumber than an idiot? Shit, don't tell me! I used to know this. I swear its on the tip of my tongue. Oo oo I know! The dope responsible for this embarrassment!

Hi William,
It has come to our attention that there is confusion amongst some players regarding our Cash-Back bonuses, or more specifically, cases where the notification email has been sent to a player but the promotion was not available in the casino cashier for them to claim.
What is occurring in these situations is as follows: The system that blah blah blah

Your explanation of the issue is obvious, as it was obvious then, immediately, at the first incidence - at least it was obvious to me and while yes, as you might be thinking, I am a genius and boy, don't you wish you were just half as smart as me, I know nothing, absolutely nothing about operating online casino promotions. Since you people are the top industry experts on the planet at this sort of thing, I can't help but wonder, "How does anyone this f(original modified here for CM)king stupid become the top industry experts on the planet at this sort of thing?"

I not only got $0 at Cocoa but $o at P8.
I know I'm repeating myself but they need to post this term on their website, " Please be aware that the cashback bonus is based on based on deposits less withdrawals less promotions less player's balance," along with the awesome, yes I'm being sarcastic, VIP levels showing the % of cash back. This information not being on the website is deceiving.....imo.

Simon Says always has had a monthly cash back bonus for me for the past several months, but not this time and I don't see anything that different. When I inquired with Simon Says about it, I got the same answer from them regarding it. The cashback bonus is based on deposits less withdrawals less promotions less player's balance.
I don't know it for a fact but I think SS has not been following this formula until this past month, because I have always gotten cash back before and I' m sure that it wasn't based on the NEW formula in bold above. It was a % of my deposits....not taking into account any of the bs mentioned above.
Funny thing is I did get a cash back bonus from TIV for the 1st time and since I've been playing Sloto I always get it. After fighting with Pantasia last month over it, I did get $5.00 back this month.:lolup: Guess it might have been more had I not uninstalled after the little fiasco last month.
Maybe it's time to clean up my computer a bit. ;)

Let's break it down a little: They needed to not have employed a bonus program that automatically emails their customers, notifying them that a bonus has been credited to their account when the amount of that bonus, most likely, is fuc(modified from the original for use at CM forums)king ZERO!

Pretty big screw up........agreed!

I have just received a mail from Paradise8 stating that the 'promotions' bit is removed from the formula calculations for cashback. This was done after discussions with Rival. Anyone else receiving this notice?

Meanwhile the new formula is (Deposits) - (Withdrawals) - (Wins) x (Cashback%) = (Cashback bonus)

Yep - I got the email too. I still dont know if I like this new bonus system...

This new bonus structure seems fair to me although I really think that the Rival casinos should drop a little something to affected players' accounts for the hassles.

I'm confused, as usual, but if this is a good thing (and bleeve me, they're damage control is all focused here in the hopes of getting any, immediate, real-time, positive reaction from anyone!) then don't buy any hooey for their reasons about why any changes are made. They were only made at all cuz they've been reading about how stupid they look here!

So right away they realize they've wasted gangs of time and money putting together something so lame that a primary result of the math they probably all fought over is an email to clients congratulating them on the $0 bonus that the casino has just had the pleasure of crediting to their account! YIKES! If I was a Rival operator and I saw just the title for this thread (perfectly composed, if I do say so, myself!- ees whot I do, man!)I wouldn't even take the time to change my fast filling panties before making the first move in the direction of fixing this mess! In fact, Rival should comp me, big time! But I guess they just can't love me with the intensity that I do!

Reading about it's lameness here within minutes of the launch, seeing their own, mind numbing stupidity magnified through their customer's (O' Horror of Horrors!) eyes, and so on and so on (and they should be kissing Bryan's ASS for the privilege - this site is a HUGE asset for them!!!!) Well, let's just recognize the power of The Mighty, Mighty CM and thanks Bryan!!!

They just DID! To ME of all people! This AM!

Now I'd like to reiterate what I've always said about the Rival software casinos:

Those guys are SURE ON THE BALL! BOY O BOY DO THEY KNOW HOW TO STRUCTURE A BONUS PROGRAM!

lol
Really folks! Very few casino operators have the where-with-all to guage their customer's reactions to messed up BS and burn rubber to set it right like these guys just did!

To all Rival operators, affiliates and personnel...

ALL HAIL THE THE AWESOME POWER OF THE MIGHTY, MIGHTY CASINOMEISTER AND LET THE PITIFUL CRIES OF THE WEAK CONTINUE TO BE HEARD AND SO FOREVER BE EMPOWERED THROUGH HIM!!!!!

Hi William,

I wanted to follow up with your last email regarding the new cashback program and the calculation involved in rewarding players. I sent out a email to all players about the change but in the event you didn't receive it...

I have been coordinating with Julia from Paradise 8 over the past week in working with Rival to remove the 'promotions' portion that was originally in the equation. They removed it a few days ago and now the equation is simply:

(Deposits) - (Withdrawals) - (Wins) x (cashback %) = (Cashback bonus)

You were absolutely correct; it didn't make sense to have promotions be part of the equation. I must thank you for sending us an email to help inform us of that.

I have credited your account with a $20 No Deposit bonus for your constructive feedback. Thanks again!

It's not often that a casino......admits they screwed up and then goes to the steps that they have to rectify a mistake. I give them a  for listening to their players.

...but when they logged into their account, there was, nothing there AGAIN?????

I swear could hear the eerie cry of a theriman wailing away somewhere off in the foggy distance (echoes from the Twilight Zone?!?) as I spoke to Nathan oF Online Chat as he dully informed me that the money I deposited and lost was not eligible to be in the cash-back promotion equation because I received a bonus.

(sung to the tune of the twilight Zone) do-do-do-do-do do-do-do-do

I thought it was me but was it someone else, very recently I think it was, who received an email from Sarah at Cocoa Casino thanking them for pointing out the stupidity of alerting customers, via email, that there's money in their account when there is not? I, or sombody, even received a $20 comp for their trouble! I think it was here: https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...ck-deposited-to-my-cocoa-casio-account.25974/

Wasn't taking part in a promotion, therefore receiving a bonus a condition of being eligible for cash back in the fist place?

I swore to Nathan that I did NOT take the bonus and go out to dinner and drinks before giving it back to the casino!!!

Is there a licensed mental health worker in the audience?!?!?!

AAAAARGH!
