In trying to sort out things, I've been looking at other forums besides Casinomeister. With so many on-line casinos coming and going, I know it must be a bitch trying to keep up with them all.
For instance, I just had some dealings wioth Alladin's Gold casino, which I beleive has a good recomendation from here. My experience was not good. I deposited a small amount of money, and played blackjack for a while. I got about $300 ahead, and the hands seemed to be following the usual percentages for wins:draws:losses. In a hurry, the gain was wiped out and the house winning percentage seemed to go way up, although I will admit I didn't keep strict account of the hands played and the win:draw:loss percentages
I then went to the practice session and played a few hundred hands, keeping trackof the win:draw:loss hands. The win:draw:loss percentages were 35%:16%:49%. These figures are kind of far off from the published percentages. I talked to the live chat people about this dispcrepency and the first thing they told me was that I didn't play enough hands to prove that the software was rigged. After some further chatting, they said they couldnt even find my account, and they were kind of rude about it.
The bottom line is that, after looking on a lot of different forums, Alladin's Gold casino comes up on a blacklist. The problem seems to be that RTG software is not controlled by the vendors, and the casino can manipulate play to enhance the casino's winnign percentages. The casino also started charging my credit card for deposits I didn't make.
As it stands right now, I don't really trust any on-line casino to play fair.
What do you all think?
