If i had not seen your post i would not have looked at race and would have forgot to back Tabdeed like i was planning. So got my winning bet on.

But after backing it did the small each way double on your two so hopefully other one comes placed as well.

Yeah i watched the race. Still ran really well tho and actually thought it would place.

Had a bit of luck on the championship there. Betting in play on goals in certain matches. Ended up a goal fest on those matches. Kept betting on the Blackburn, Fulham and QPR matches as they had goals and they just kept coming lol.

Wondering at the moment why Arsenal are 8/1 tonight. Iknow they are piss but still seems to high a price for a cup semi final with no fans etc. at match.

Well turned into a great day on football so far.

After having a great run there on championship football i had put a bet on goal in first half of 2 late Italian games,2 Portuguese, Burnley and Man City games. As Portuguese game just got goal nice win. Add that to few other inplay bets been best day for a good while football wise.

And couple minutes away from a nice single as after toying over it for a while i decided way too big a price on Arsenal so bet them.

3.05Y Living In The Past. Won the Lowther last year over C&D, trainer said at the time he would be a better horse this year. Lowther is a G2, this is a G3. Fact he ran in the Breeders Cup (even though he came last) shows what teh yard thinks of him. Seems the value bet at arounf 12/1 (being backed slightly too, was a big as 20/1 in places yesterday)

3.25N Faylaq. Think this trip will suit him better, clearly has potential, and has shortened from 8/1 to 5/1 (7/2 in some places)

2.15N Bernardo O'Reilly 40/1 - won off this mark the last time he was on it so no way he should be this price. This is a slightly better race than he usually runs in, but this is like others I've posted, I think he has an ok chance of getting placed, 40/1 (bet365) is probably double what I think he should be.

4.00N Just In Time - Trainer's doing well, and I think its only the long lay off thats causing this one to be 16/1. If it had had a recent run and ran ok, I would expect it to be about 7/1. Gambling on it being fit, but if it is, 16/1 is far too high.

One horse I am quite curious about is a horse in the 5.05 Fulysse at Tipperary. From 25/1 into 8's with no form to speak of. I've not taken it but it has stood out as a curio.

That one in the 5.05 looks like a price correction rather than a gamble, hardly anything matched on Betfair, and even less at the higher odds.
It will be interesting to see what happens with it

One voice was boxed in and I'm sure it was deliberate in the 4.15 otherwise it would have won easily.
Not a very good weekend for me but you can't win them all.

7.30 Expensive Dirham. Bit risky as the only horse in the race not to have won, but should get placed I would have thought. (5/1)

5.30 Treaty of Dingle. I like this one, the concern though is that she usually front runs, as does In The Red, and they could go too fast early on, and get caught at the end. Having said that there isn't much quality in the race, so going to do a small RFC on the off chance that they stay out in front (13/2 and 11/1)

6.30 King's Knight should at least get a place, hwoever at 3/1 I won't be having a bet on it, will do an EW bet on it if it drifts to 5/1+

4.20 I like Glasses Up (5/1) and Thai Terrier for the rfc. Not sure why Sister Midnight is 40/1 so doing a reverse tricast with her too.

4.50 best bet of the day for me is Nataleena at 5/1, backing it EW, can't see it being out the first 3 and good chance of winning

3.00S Beyond the Clouds, if he is fit and has retained previous ability, he should go close in this. 12/1 is the best price he will be for a long time if he runs well.

4.30S Going with a couple of Sean's the the last 2 races. Dream Bolt, similar comments to the above. Should be up to winning a race of this quality, if it is today remains to be seen though.

5.05S Nellie Kernow, it's pedigree suggests it should be able to win this, stables in excellent form in bumpers. Seems to be money for Bonnie Golightly which is a concern, but is an EW price so going to stick with my original selection.

4.50C The favourite will be hard to beat in this race, but to make up the EW Lucky 15 I'm going with Gold Standard as the rest of the field are donkeys, so he should get placed

Being offered £186 cashout for the bet, but if Titus wins its £887.
Value of the bet now is £110, if it places (which is what I thought it would do, rather than win), its £137.
I rarely cashout and don't think I will now. It's an extra £50 profit if Titus places, but £700 less than I would get if it wins. As I'm already in profit whatever happens, I'll let it ride. Plus it's being backed slightly, got 13/2 for it, now 11/2. It's had the highest amount of money matched on betfair too, apart from the favourite.

Couple of SA ones that I've been told are expected to win, not my selections though

1.10 Turffontain: Ideal Angel (11/8)
1.25 Greyville: Ecstatic Green (11/4)

It's Saturday so treat with caution, I usually pick 4 and have 4 coming last!

In the big race, the 2.25 at Ascot, I could literally pick half the field, the race is that open, certainly for the place market. Cardsharp, Shelir, Arbalet & Blackheath being four I like, but don't think any will beat Mutamaasik. The RP says he ran like something was amiss last time, but I've watched the race and looked like he just couldn't get the gaps, so was eased down, rather than went wrong. That will go in the Lucky 15 @ around 15/2, 6 places with Paddy Power. I'm going to add 2 others to do a small tricast, Cardsharp and Shelir. Seeing as I've mentioned half the field, I'll claim a win if one of them gets 6th

3.00A Glasvegas. Mental price of 66/1 for a horse that was third in the Windsor Palace last year. He was gelded over the winter, blew the start last time out, and was never put into the race. I don't think he will beat the favourite, but think he will outrun his 66/1 odds (ie not come last) as long as he starts ok.

3.15Y Just Hiss, was looking at Irv as he won this last year, and noticed Just Hiss is 19lb better off with him than last year (when Just Hiss finished 4l behind Irv in 3rd). He likes this track, winning or getting placed almost every time he's ran here, however you have to overlook his terrible form so far this season, getting beaten around 20l both runs. If the course helps him, and he finds some of his form from last year, he should be up there at the end. Currently 25/1

2.40Y Fox Chairman struggled to find a fourth horse for the lucky 15, but picked this as think he's still improving, trainers in form (not getting many winners, but plenty placed) and De Sousa is in form too, getting 2 winners here already this afternoon, both at big prices. Currently 15/2


I also liked Data Protection in the 4.00, but 2 non runners means only 2 places, so leaving it out. No doubt it will win now of course.


At Tramore tonight, doing a double on 6.15 Memories Remain 2/1 and 7.15 Knock On Steel 3/1. The fact the prices have halved since the opening shows on both gives it extra confidence.

First SA horse just won, fingers crossed for the next one

3.50R Sorbonne Backed this the last time it ran, and it didn't stay the 10f, back to a mile today, I think he will do a lot better, the price is shorter than I hoped, but 4/1 is ok (was hoping for 5's), 5 places at most bookies.

6.45G (disclaimer, Galway is a track I never do well at, ever!) Dalileo, much better off at the weights this time, has a ok claimer on, trainers in cracking form, and at 40/1 with 6 places (Paddy power) think this will at least outrun its odds. Most bookies are 28/1 or 33/1, with 5 places, so there is certainly value at PP at the moment.

2.30MR That's A Given. Bit of a shot in the dark with this one, but if he repeats his second last run he should get a place at least. He has a tendancy to run poorly, then the next race, run well, and his last run was too bad to be true, so hopefully bounces back this time. It's a poor race and the type you often get a big priced winner popping up in. 20/1 most places.

4.50R Key Spirit. Not really one for backing horses in maidens, but this one's related to so decent horses, and, despite the betting making it look like it's a 2 horse race, think there might be an upset. Currently 20/1

6.30W Epsom Faithfull. As far as I can see, he has a good a chance of getting placed as any of the others in the feild. Broughtons Gold is a worthy favourite, but think this one might get a place at least. 10/1 at the moment.

Doing the last 4 in an EW Lucky 15, the first will do a small win on.

I am hoping A WAVE OF THE SEA in the 6.45 will get my week off to a flyer tonight, I have a nice EW bet on it at 12/1 tonight, I think its been laid out for the race after having a pipe opener over hurdles a few weeks ago. Plus the jockey, in my view, is one of the best amateurs in Ireland along with Jamie Codd and Finnie Maguire.
