Question Help Please Bet365 !! withdrawal time?

Hi All,

I have been an absolute fool, and want to know if anyone has fallen for it.

I won £11050 on bet365, no promotions or anything just clean cash.

I withdrew it in 6 seperate withdrawals, and closed my computer at 0158am on Friday morning, (days are important here).

I expected them to process it and put it back in my bank.

I went back on on Saturday morning (some 30 hours later) and they still had not processed it and like an fool, camcelled withdrawal and replayed and lost the lot !!!!!!!.

I went to an online chat 3 days later and asked how long does it take to process mmy withdrawals....... they said 2 to 3 hours
I emailed them and was twice told upto 24 hours.
I got a phone call telling me Friday was not a banking day, but part of the weekend
I got another call telling me the reason it was not processed was because of a random audit check
I got another phone call telling me the reason was because in case I wanted to cancel withdrawal, thats why they left it.

They offered me £50 goodwill............. I turned it down
They offered me £250 goodwill............I turned it down

Reported them to the commissionaire and basically said they were in breach of the generic code of conduct - para 15.4

He said that didnt apply to my case (didn't say that in the code) and not to contact them again unless its through a solicitor.

I know I have been a fool and maybe cheeky of me for pursuing, but I would not have replayed it all under any circumstances, I most definately would have gone on again, but not £11,050.

Has this happened to anyone else ? 2 solicitors are telling me to forget it, but hang on a minute, wheres fair play ?, why didnt they process my withdrawals

and yes, the casino pays in less than 24 hours, when i won there (very very very difucult) but i got it 2 times in my life, never more than $1000, i got paid in less than 12 hours, on a week day

now i think you should have waited the 2 days, until the 1st business day after the weekend, and after that, speak to live chat.
and they give you a $250, its a good offer, so i think they do it right

I know you are right, and the poits you raise are very valid and true about the extra winnings.

I agree I pressed the button, nobody forced my hand, and yes it happens all the time....but it shouldn't !!!!

other online casinos like stan james, and ladbrokes to name 2 disappear instantly, once I request a withdrawal whether I want to play again or not, I have to wait for it to credit my bank before I can redospit and play.

It all works in bet365's favour, it always will, but lets just have a little tip towards us for a change.

I accept your point of extra checks, again I have no problem with that, however they should have ringfenced it all and not just the outbound.

Yes I am crying foul play, because I wouldn't have replayed if they had done their part.

Again, I want to have it changed for everyones benefit as well so we don't have others that find themselves in the preveriable.

I would try to play at casinos that flush upon request or pay within 24 hours every day of the week...no excuses. That way if you have the temptation to reverse, you just need to hold out for one day.

It's really unfortunate what happened to you. I believe a lot of casinos hope the player reverses and loses their winnings. It's the casnos that pay immediately and handle this professionally that should be the gold standard. You just have to know who you're dealing with so you know what your part is.

Maybe you could ask them next time to temporarily disable account if they don't flush so you don't have access.

And I would say that if the money means THAT much to the player and he can't resit the temptation to reverse - then he shouldn't be gambling in the first place.
None of us can ever win at casinos unless we have a certain degree of will power.

I have NEVER reversed a withdrawal, and the way I personally handle a situation like this (a withdrawal pending, meaning I can't play at that casino) is to just got to a different casino, make a small deposit and play there instead.

Well, I think you should stop gambling asap. You simply lost your controll as it happened to me and many others here. I promise you that you will start to chase the 11k that you have lost by reversing that withdrawal, and it will end in loosing even more. I truly believe this will be one of the top 3 reasons people will deposit to a u.s. regulated casino in the future. If the casino automatically removes the funds from the players account and processes the withdrawl as soon as cashout is initiated, this for me is number 1 along with choice of software.

There is no waiting period upon making the deposit and the same should apply when making the withdrawl. Deposits are accepted 7 days a week, 24 hours a day...the withdrawl should mirror this. How do you know what the deal will be with US casinos online?

You might find that the requirements are stricter and that there is a compulsory pending period, or that all cashouts take a week to reach you. Who knows?

One thing I DO know for sure is that the governments will all want their cut, along with the operators, so RTPs will be lower than they are currently to pay for it.....possibly to the point where financially you could be worse off.

I don't mind 24 hrs pending, as long as it is no more than that.....if someone can't find something else to do during that time they shouldn't be gambling.

The fact that you withdrew in 6 separate withdrawals means you are familiar with online gaming and that you knew you were likely to reverse albeit one by one leaving the rest intact during the pending period. You may not have expected to lose your first couple of w/ds so quickly leading you to an irresistable urge to reverse the rest.

While Bet365 normally processes cashouts in quick time I cannot fault them for holding your w/d over a weekend. Yes, the random audit check reason is a bit baffling but these things do occur even in multinational organisations so frankly just admit you could not resist the urge to play more, lost and move on. IMO even if you take them to court you are likely to lose so better save your breath and legal fees.

I tend to believe you are a veteran at online gaming so to cry 'foul' over a pending w/d over a weekend just doesnt wash with me. My apologies for being so harsh but these are my thoughts.

In saying that you did know that Bet365 do flush, right? And Im sure I read somewhere on this thread that they told you that you had the option of having the reversal withdraw facility removed

Im not sure why you think a cash out would only take 6 hours. Casino's probably say that but in reality it usually takes around 3 days if your'll lucky or 5 days most of the times.

I've made a cashout from Bet 365 on a Thursday, it was in my bank the next day so Im not sure what the delay was with your cashout. Im going to assume, the reason - the audit was brought in, is because it was such a big amount. Well theres my theory anyway

So though I am sorry for your lost, I really am - honestly you played it back - they didnt force you and as countless others have said before me, we've all done that. I honestly cant see how you can blame the casino........ just saying

I feel for OP......i mean i bet every one of us on here has had that sickening feeling where you have done something in the heat of the moment and you know you've f*cked up. I did it myself last week...won a few hundred at Paddy Power, decided to take a punt on Beach Life £10 a spin, going to do a max of 4 or 5 spins then before you know it -£500 feeling like an idiot.

Seriously though man how on earth did you burn through 11k? thats not something you could do in an hour unless you were playing something crazy like £100 a spin. You must have thought as it whittled down to 5k...4k... hold on minute I best withdraw something here so at least I walk away with some cash.

Sorry to stick my oar in here as well but you are on a hiding to nothing by trying to blame B365. You need to realise that this was your mistake so you can learn from it and move on.
