    Hi everyone,

After a trip to Crown Casino in Melbourne last year I found a passion for BJ, however under their BJ Plus rules, the dealers 22 is a push. Later on I discoverd on Wizard of Odds that this rule gave a house edge of over 6%. So last year I joined my first online casino in serch of better odds, and so far my online casino experience has been good. Also keen to learn poker and get into that.

    Thanks everyone.

My personal opinion on online poker = don't bother!
Not only is it tediously boring - but you have no idea who you are playing against. There could be bots (computer players) or professional poker players using different names. I can play golf... but I wouldn't fancy my chances against Jason Day!
Online poker used to be massive about 10 years ago - but these days the poker sites are much quieter.

Which online casino did you join? If it's one of the big name ones, they could be pulling out of Australia in the near future due to new gambling laws which are going through.

Anyway - welcome to the best gambling forum on the net!

Thank mate, you make some really good points, maybe I should avoid it. I first joined Royal Vegas, and just recently joined 32Red because it had such a good reputation here. Sad to hear, would be a shame if we couldnt play online anymore.

You will be able to play online - just not at casinos with the 2 softwares I mentioned (including the 2 you joined, who will most likely pull out of the Aussie market in the next couple of months).
Basically you will probably end up with the same casino choices that Americans have, after their government tried to stop online gambling back in 2006.

In the meantime - good luck!
