Hello everybody

Thank you all for the warm welcome.
I feel real good knowing there is all you nice people here.
For those who speak German:
Ich bin froh,Mitglied beim besten Forum das es gibt zu sein!!!
Yes,we still have Hippos in Germany!

Deutsches sprechen? Nein? Dann ist hier Professor Berlitz !

I tried the Berlitz method years ago. I can still hear the oompa, oompa, oompa music in my head. :)

Now I subscribe to Rosetta Stone. Only $89.00 for three months, renewable indefinitely. It is a much improved process and I have come a long way in a short few months. I began this when the UIGEA crap started since it was getting hard to find a reputable casino.

Ist der ein Hund? Nein, das ist nicht ein Hund. Die ist eine Katze. :D
How am I doing?

Oh, and WELCOME to the forum Hippo666.

Hello Everybody!

Thanks for the welcome

Hast du etwas Zeit fr mich
Dann singe ich ein Lied fr dich
Von 99 Luftballons
Auf ihrem Weg zum Horizont
Denkst du vielleicht g'rad an mich
Dann singe ich ein Lied fr dich
Von 99 Luftballons
Und dass so was von so was kommt

Your German is so beautiful, nearly virtual :lolsign:
and did you know that we have a golden palace of chance down in berlin, which is called the reichtag (reich in english means rich , as you know :D)

Haha - looks like he copied Nina's 99 Red Balloons in Deutsch :D

he did.
But how the hell was he able to?

TB has much more talents than i ever knew!

And what about this one, can you find out and/or translate: ??

Die kleinen Mdchen aus der Vorstadt
tragen heute Nasenringe aus Phosphor
Und sie singen, das ist geil, das ist geil,
hurra hurra, die Schule brennt.

babelfish thinks, its this way:

The small girls from the before city carry today noses struggle from phosphorus. And they sing: That is geil that is geil - hurra hurra the school burns.

and back:

Die kleinen Mdchen von, bevor Stadt heute Nasen tragen, kmpfen vom Phosphor. Und sie singen: Das ist geil, das geil ist - hurra hurra, welches die Schule brennt.

and once more:
The small girls of, before today noses carry city, fight from the phosphorus. And they sing: That is geil, geil is - hurra hurra, which burns the school.

now, thats my level

Crap, well I will keep plugging away at it. The names of items are easy enough for me. Tisch, milch, fahrrad, and the like. And descriptors such as rote, gross, klein, unter and uber are fairly easy to learn also. The problem that most perplexes me are the tenses and fem/masculine stuff. Like when is it der, die, das for instance. And the plurality of some words is tough for me. Thanks for the kick in the pants. I need to study harder, ja? :Read:

As of the Text from Extrabreit:
The little girls from the Suburbs are wearing Noserings from Phosphor these days,
And they are singing:that is great, that is great, hooray, hooray the School is burning!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I have been a member for quite some time, but have never introduced myself.
I am a homemaker and live in Wilmington, N.C. Just wanted to say welcome to all newcomers and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a great New Year.
This is one of the best sites on the internet, because it keeps us up to date on everything. I especially like the fact that it informs us about the Rogue casinos and tells us which are the best and most honest casinos. I think we should all give Casinomeister a big Thank You for looking out for our best interest when gambling online.
(((( Thank you!))))))
