Im starting to wonder, recently saw a thread here about the MGA setting 92% RTP as minnimum. Alos the recent trend of games paying worse than before. I know some of you might claim it is not so, but it obviously is.

To play online slots does not feel the same as it didd a few years ago. Especially Netent seams to be horrible. Especially at smaller brands(With less players) its gotten to the point where i hardly play anymore as it seams the games truly are not random and fair. Everyone i know personally and on other forums aswell seams to experience the same "impossible to win" scenarios. Then players deposit 100- 200 euros and lose it all in 5 minutes playing 1 pr spin over and over and over again with no playtime or wins it just seams like its all a big scam.

And now this stamtent from the MGA. Im pretty convinced we players are being lied to. I truly do not belive the chances of winning are the same every time its obvious. I guess its time to boikot this rotten industry.

I honestly can't see a big difference since the 92% minimum payout was passed by the MGA.
My last 2 weeks where actually quite okay. You and your friends must have run into a cold spell. :(

*shrugs shoulders*...I've won over the years, I've lost over the years.
The winning screenshot has been so full Bryan even had to kill it, it's been so popular, so clearly people are still winning.

Unless you have data to back that up, I don't see anything obvious about it all.

Maybe if you don't believe you're getting a fair chance of winning it is time to stop.
It's not looking so smart to claim otherwise but still keep on playing.

These kind of threads have popped up in this and every other forum since people started to play online.
If it had been any truth in all of these threads the RTP would now be set at -199%

    :)

It's easy to feel abject with games that have seemingly changed. It's just nostalgia to be honest.....we love to remember the 'good times' and do our best to eradicate all the rubbish, tedious, mind-numbing crap that came before it.

I had a good May, with three decent cashouts from three places. That's very rare for me

But before that, all my favourite games played like dog. Probably to do with their high- variance nature.

With slots, they don't pay out in nice regular intervals but in batches. So all my regular games that were so kind to me have 'turned' again unfortunately, but don't play different to three / four years ago. They're just being stubborn c*nts :eek:

It's a risk  It's been bad for about 3 months for me now but it seems the longer you wait for a win, the bigger it is :eek2: That might just be me but, all the best buddy  Good luck.

    Good day all

I wish the same could be said for the UK AWP slot machine market ..... The UK gambling commission killed the industry by allowing high jackpots ( £100 ) on a compensated Pub machines
this allowed people in the know to go around and Empty/force machines that are ready to pay and then wait for occasional player to fill them back up ...

this has forced a decline in the occasional player causing machines to make little profit

Most UK AWP slots now have ridiculously low RTPs .... most now around 70%
and the new UK gambling commission rules actually don't set any minimum RTP on machines manufactured after August 2007

    from the UKGC website
There is no statutory minimum percentage payout for a gaming machine. The technical standards for legacy gaming machines however, do put a lower limit of 70% as a % RTP
Legacy gaming machines are Category B3, B4, C or D machines that were available for lawful use on premises in Great Britain on 31 August 2007

I hope the Online Gaming experience does not end up the same way

    all the best

I've had several wins of over 2000x on Rhino so I guess my RTP on that game is a bit higher than -199% :D

Its not only the games, which over the years have all gotten more volatile, cos its the much less frequent "big wins" that we want - what we see in screenshots these days - huge wins on ultra high varience games- one reason for so many dry sessions.

But for me its also the service, I remember when we used to get frequent NDBs and free spins promos etc. quite often even daily, or if you've had a dry spell you'd log in next time to find a free NDB on your acount.

These days its all flat deposit bonuses with WR getting higher overtime, even the 32red brands are applying 40 to 50x wagering to newer players and promos, (as if 30x wasnt impossible enough already) its like they are trying to drive us players away.

    Let's not forget one thing:

The number of players has exploded in the past few years and in line with that also the number of available casinos. Hence, the individual chances of hitting that big win has become much lower as the games are all running from 1 server / game provider. This also leads to have more extreme sessions on both ends, losing and winning ones.

For me personally, i can see from my records that these extremes have increased a lot in the past 2 years. I have many more super lousy sessions with RTP of 60% and lower but i do also have a significant increase in big win sessions when i compare that to 5 years ago. What has suffered is the medium sessions where i get a lot of playtime and fun for one deposit, those have decreased dramatically.

It is now almost every session either lose quick or win big; the first one being of course in the absolute majority.

I am as guilty as the 'next man' for having serious tin foil moments and conspiracy theories galore during my playing 'career'.

I even had a big juicy one in that once the UKGC was up and running all UK players had to have a lower RTP for the percentage that the casinos have to send to the government - Something I almost actually started to believe myself at the time, my sessions were THAT bad! (Please no horses heads if this is a bit close to the bone :p)

Now 2016 is my best start to any year since I started back in 2003 so all theories are out the window of that nature (for now ) For even more up to date reassurances, May 2016 was my best month for a long time (Since THAT TSII hit back in 2013)

IMO I totally agree with Harry that the reason for more common barren spells is the drastic increase in players and new casinos, When it was mostly MG standalone Downloads (my preferred choice back in the day) bigger hits were more common for a fact, nothing stops accumulation of smaller wins building nicely these days though with the right playing tactic (discipline would be a better word than tactic actually)

What i ment is i have been playing online fore about 5 years and i have noticed as harry said, the swings are more volatile now. I have more losing sessions now than i used to. Even tough i mostley play the same games as back then.

Im more inclined to belive the games are either A) Compansated or B) There are a set amount of winnings pr set number of spins. or C) there are multiple RTP settings fore the casinos to choose from.
I definitivly do not belive in the "you stand the same chance at all casinos" statment.

Conspiracy theory allert. In many casinos if i had a sick, sick loosing run. Like been losing allot of money, then it ends in a horrible deposit going donwhill in minutes. I have complained on chat and gotten comped and won thousands several time. I woul dsay about 1/3 times thats happened. But ofcourse i never win more that my total losses. But i belive the payouts are somehow controllable.

And also certain providers seam more fair than others. I feel like Microgaming seams the most random. WMS are most definitivly not random. And the same goes fore NetEnt. Newer providers also seams to be total shit, Riggdrasil, thunderkick and such.

Also look at newer high volatile games such as Pyramide quest for immortality. I have done about 20-30K spins on this game in total. Best win being around 250x bet..... Come on, it should atleast have given put a 500x-1000x in that amount of spins. Also i have never sean a screenshot of a 1000x or 10 000-36 000x from that game, but on the other hand i have seen allot of full screen wild desire screenshots.

If you don't like volatility, then you shouldn't gamble, cause it is what it is about. If you want 0 volatility, I can help you. You simply give me money, and I will give you 97% back every time.

You need to get into your mind, that for every spin you make you are most likely going to loose. It doesen't matter if you have lost 500 times in a row before it. The 501th time it is also most probable that you are going to loose. That also goes with your 1st, 50th... 500th deposit you make in a row without winning. I believe you are the same guy who won around 10 000 x on Dead or Alive, and remember, to make up for that someone(or many)else has to have lost 10 000/0.97 straight spins.
