Happy Memorial Day weekend to our US friends

I'm aware it's also a sombre occasion and not always happy, especially for those as are patriotic and or have friends and family that served - so, to those, a nod.

I know it's also a weekend of camping and barbecues, so to those cheers!

To all those who have served... and their families.... Thank you, your service and your sacrifice is appreciated. Many have died, their families remain, still paying the price of military service.

For those that don't know what it's like for military families.... To any who asked, Hubby always said, "The wife and I did 20 in the USAF" even though he was the one in uniform.

On the other hand, this is our first big summer holiday and people are traveling. Be careful out there!

I'm staying home and hoping to get a few things done around the house.
