Good evenin' peeps from AK

Spent last few days browsing through some of the threads here and you look like a friendly and helpful bunch of peeps with lots of useful info so I decided to sign up. :)

Roulette's my game but I have to come clean I'm a bit of a newbie, insofar as I've not signed up to a casino, only done time amusing myself on the demos trying out out all the usual systems as well as few of my own along with plenty of background research on all aspects of the game and gambling in general.

So I hope I still qualify for a presence here.

:)

P.S. I can't seem to upload a decent sized (only 50x50) or animated avatar but have seen better sized as well as animated on here.

Could be the memory size is too big even if the dimensions are OK...?
(The software should tell you the maximum).

Or maybe you have to make a certain number of posts before GIFs are allowed?

Anyway, don't let that stop you - join in; it's great here!

Hello Amazonking and welcome to the forum!
Glad to see that someone is still love to play Roulette! IMO the best online casino for Roulette players is BetVoyager.com They have Randomness Control and bunch of "No House Edge" games. They also have No Zero Roulette, Multiball Roulette, Roulette Express, American Roulette and European Roulette :)

If you want to know more about it - just ask :)

Hi KK - image I tried was 150x150x17.5k as a JPG or 8.26kb as a gif. tried both but edit avatar section of the my profile says I'm only allowed "50x50x20K whichever is smaller" and animated is not allowed so not sure what's going on there. Could be as you say the number of posts is the issue.

Yeah I won't let it stop me though :)

Hi SlotMonster, when it comes to casino games I've always been a follower of roulette. Like the variance of bets that can be made as well as the complex combos plus there's nowt hidden from view in a fair game. Not sure I could follow Ashley Revel's strategy though and stick all I own down on red:eek: Although it does follow the only system that can really win in the end if you're lucky ... namely 'cut and run' before the odds catch up.:)

Read a number of your informative posts and did try Betvoyager's demo, yes agree they do seem good with the RC control for a fair game. Understand the CRC principle but on first reading couldn't quite get my head round how it checks through. Betfair also have the zero edge tables but way too restrictive on bet spread and limits to attack with many systems other than simple flat bets, although Betfair have previously lost a few 10000's possibly to a 1,3,2,6 progression but the present limits stifle that or the less agressive 1,3,2,4 combo now.

A number of times you've made mention of Shifting numbers as well as mixing systems to circumvent 'cheating' Must admit I don't know what you mean by shifting numbers or how this can protect and does this shifting only apply to Betvoyager. Any chance of a bit more info on this SlotMonster. TIA

thanks oldtrvlagt. certainly loads of info here to digest.. you're right fun and luck are the keys.:)

Just to expand on your signature.. a favourite quote of mine...

"Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you. But if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder."

Yeah, their limits are awesome :) Starting from one eurocent and ends at 1000 euros.

As for the shifting, I'd suggest you to read the following page:

Here you could find all necessary info. I quoted the most important part for you :)

A game with randomness control is conducted during a series of successive spins, and the length of a series can be determined by the player himself. The random sequence of numbers is formed before the beginning of a series. These numbers range from 0 to 36 and correspond to those numbers, on which the ball is supposed to land. The player can change the ‘planned’ number before each regular spin by defining so-called corrective shift.

Before each regular spin, the player can change the number in the sequence that must fall out in roulette. For this purpose, the player uses field 5 to define a shift—a number ranging from 0 to 36. The shift is used for the correction of the ‘planned’ number. Namely, the number, which will fall out in roulette in the present spin (0–36), is calculated in the following way: the shift is added to the number from a random sequence. If this sum is higher than 36, then 37 is subtracted from the sum.

For example, the next number in sequence should be "10", but you may change it without changing the initial sequence. So if you set the "shift" = 18 - so "28" will come instead of "10".

You can try it in DEMO mode BTW...

Thanks for the reply and your explanation Slotmonster, read your link and watched the vids but will have to re-read (digest) it a few more times I think.

ATM my understanding is the shifting is a feature of the RC control and thus unique to Betvoyager and allows you to affect the outcome of the RNG spin(s) by the shift amount(s). Keeping a note of the shift amounts you enter allows you to work back to the original sequence that would have been generated and this original sequence can be hash checked.

Will have to try it out see if it becomes clearer :)

I do like Betvoyager though the graphics are a bit twee.
Small problem I have with Betvoyager however is when using the Auto spin on a flat fixed flat bet system (e.g. I set it 50 spins 10 point flat bet on black say) running the auto sequence a few times often leads to the following error 'the game is too fast' at some point in the autorun. This happens even if I reduce the spin speeds to the lowest value. Annoying as it results in the session having to be ended, and of course you can guarantee that it happens when I happen to be down in the bet plan

edit I'm getting this 'Game is too fast' error even with manul bets !

Yes, you can reflect on what nubmer will land on Roulette by making shifting. The same you could on ANY game at BetVoyager.

As for the error message, I'd suggest you to contact their Support. They are pretty quick with their response if you contact them via internal email system or chat ("Support" channel).
