I have signed up on quite a few MG casinos in the last six months. This casino is has been my favorite of the bunch. I got birthday gift, a NDB and some good offers weekly.

But this interaction annoyed me. Made me feel like i'm not valued at all at the casino because of my low deposit.

Am I wrong for thinking this is out of line?

Be aware GoWild have recently been put in limboland on here; neither rogue nor accredited. Although not exactly for the issue you've just posted.

This encouragement to deposit more than you intend is a sinister tactic also employed by FL as they did this sort of crap with me at 7sultans at the weekend. I don't like it, it's predatory patronizing and insulting. And they're accredited!

GoWild GoWild Casino was an Accredited Casino for a couple of months, but their policy of bonus "abuse" was too subjective and they were subsequently removed from the site. Although they are a good casino, advantage players may have difficulties convincing the casino that their bonus play is not "abusive."
 
This sales pitch also breaches the principles of responsible gambling. Here we have a player who has already decided that $100 is what they can afford to spend, but they are getting a "high pressure sell" from the chat rep, which includes some misleading information, such as this emphasis on "making profit". The word "profit" is not appropriate at all when it comes to offering a bonus, as the WR is designed to make it -EV for the player, so long term a doubling of the "investment" means a doubling of the loss. Further, by depositing more, you lumber the session with twice the WR, so the long term house edge has a stronger effect than short term variance that might produce a nice payout.

It may even be a complete load of bollocks if the bonus can be spread over several deposits until the cap is reached, which is how bonuses at some MGS casinos work (GNUF for example). A far better "investment strategy" would be to play on the first $100, and only consider an additional $100 "investment" when busting out, but can afford another $100 and 70% happens to be the best offer on the table.

Lucky dust only works in bingo, and has not been clinically tested and proven to work in casinos, so is not currently licensed for this use:rolleyes:
 
Wholly agree with VWM - the technique that this chat rep has been trained to use, is terribly irresponsible. Reluctant to blame her personally as she is just following a script, but it smacks of a nasty operation, encouraging you to spend (lose) way more than want to, in a heavily pushy way.

It seems GoWild really went downhill after their old offices in Croatia got raided and they had to move. Their CS was once their strong point, and some even likened it to what you get from 32Red. It seems that the move meant they shifted to "drones" from quality CS staff, with the above example being a case of a scripted sell, rather than service. Maybe she also works for a bingo room, possibly outsourced support serving a number of operations, and got her "lucky dust" medication confused.

I also very much doubt she is telling the truth when she tells the OP the 70% is "exclusive to you". This is a generic offer open to anyone who isn't bonus banned like I am (having gone over £8000K ahead:p). Oddly enough, amongst the obvious GoWild spam cleverly disguised as a personal offer from the casino, I am seeing small offers quoting my account number, mainly free spins if I make a small deposit (1p & 5 lines no doubt:rolleyes:) ). Pity they didn't forget the bonus ban during the CS shakeup, I could do a fair bit of damage if they came up with another 70% "unlimited" offer, where I would more or less use the strategy I outlined above, deposit, bust, have another go, rather than go "all in" for a massive bankroll with everything available.

I never bumped into a 36DD model when I went out Saturday and all it did was make me sneeze then have an asthma attack. I then put padding in my cheeks, ate a MacDonalds and went on Bingocams and wildly whooped when getting two lines for £1.98, broke wind and ended up £30 down. Apart from that, the stuff was brilliant.

I was a very regular player at Go Wild, often with a minimum deposit of $300 and taking any bonus available to me - but the girls from live chat would still do their song and dance to entice me to deposit more - so I think it doesn't matter how much you have deposited, it's part of their sales policy to have players deposit ($50 or $100) more after they've made their deposit.

I must admit though that there bonuses were good, but I got tired in the end of live chat and the fact that you have to check the WR with them as well - it's not done by the system - so I stopped playing there and moved on to NetEnt casinos and 32Red.

Lol, there probably isn't much lee-way from the side of the rep..these 'exclusive' bonuses are just the ones from the mass mails..they always tell me 'oh, JUST for you today, I can offer bla bla bla'..and I'm like, 'yes, well, so it says in my email, I know this'..actually, there's even times the CSR offers me a terrible bonus; I'll go in stupid asking what the best deal of the day is and they'll trot out something LESS than I have in my mail, and I'll turn around and say 'but, what about this'? to which they reply 'oh, of course, you could take that one too' lol

However, you CAN email your manager and ask for something better, which I have gotten.

Nah they do that often is nothing but sales tactics trying to get the upsale I wouldn't take it personally
and ill vouch for this casino never had any problems and the live support is allways friendly and open
minded to making deals other mgs I've played at tell you how it is and almost zero salesmanship : ive
had fast cashouts and good times with this place never been mucked around ever ay.
 
I tried to close my account shortly after this forum post.

I repeatedly insisted that they should close it but they kept stalling and telling me about their great offers. It took weeks, five emails and lot's of chatting with CS to get my account closed.

Just horrible....
