getting documents notarised in Australia?

If you would have spent .99 cents maybe you wouldn't have been hacked as you described in another thread.

What's your point as it's off content here?

PM me. :what:

How do you know that my hacking problem had anything to do with a casino or any documents I've submitted to one?

As it happens, it would seem my info may have been intercepted whilst using gprs mobile data. It's the only way they could get my account id, security code and password.

You say your business model is irrelevant to the thread? Well so is my Neteller issues, so are even now?

Because you keep saying things like the following as if they were fact:

As already pointed out:
  • many of us disagree, notarisation/certification is a recognised and reliable process.
  • many people don't have to pay for the service.
  • the casinos will typically reimburse any fees the player incurred once verification is successfully completed.

This is not always obvious to the player, and in some cases players have been told specifically that the casino is NOT going to reimburse any costs when they make the request for the notarised documents, which is something that the innocent player gets worried about, and thus interprets the request as "stalling".
It would be better if casinos assured players that their costs WOULD be reimbursed along with their withdrawal amount once their documents had been verified.

The service being perveyed by P.V seems to provide a temporary solution, and one which casinos could easily implement themselves by having a secure upload facility built into their websites or download software. I am pretty shocked that despite casinos wanting to assure players that they offer "cutting edge" standards for securing players' details, this one simple step in achieving this has yet to be implemented. We already see the results of their levels of security, repeated cases where players' details have been stolen by employees and sold on to spammers or fraudsters. Each case inflicts further damage to the trust players have in how well their information is secured.
Just because everybody ELSE keeps losing our data doesn't mean the online casinos have to:rolleyes:
