I think that we have an accord.
The Labour government need to recognise that they got in with only 20% of the electorate. The reason why they ignore it is that with most important issues they are in bed with the Tories who are also in with those 3 letter agencies I mentioned.

I have two daughters who consider themselves as black and they are scared to go out this weekend. It disgusts me that folk who are just pissed off with there life.Life choices. Ability to make a good life for themselves without any effort or those just with a "poor me" attitude to life can disrupt and take over what is a genuine concern.

They are economic migrants who have travelled through numerous safe European countries to get here & paid people traffickers thousands per person. Some of these countries are run by warlords & machetes, street murders are a way of life.

We've never had as many people in the UK worth millions and millions of pounds as we do now.

And yet everyone's skint. Even the government. Where has all the money gone?

There is loads of money, loads of wealth, it's just that the last time it was distributed this unequally was before the Second World War.

When the rich get richer they use their wealth to buy everything, pricing the little guy out of the market, be it for houses, or goods, or services.

Immigrants in the main aren't rich. They are, generally speaking, just trying to get by with the basics of a decent life like everyone else.

We still haven't sold my dad's old house in Radcliffe - (shit area in North Manchester) - since he died last year because he had no will and probate to go through and everything is taking forever, but the process is moving along. My brother had an estate agent round there the other day, the house is an absolute fucking dump, basically just a shell of a rundown two-up two-down terraced house that will need complete renovation including all the major stuff like roof, windows, electrics, new bathroom and kitchen etc.

The estate agent was saying just stick it an auction with a reserve of £100K, and it'll probably go for about £120K. It'll get bought up unseen by an investor (they send a minion round to appraise them), who'll do it up and rent it out, never to be owned by a working class person ever again.

Who do you think is buying that house? Who do you think has basically made housing completely unaffordable in this shitty old town, condemning working people to pay exorbitant rents forever, destined never to own a home? Is it poor immigrants just trying to get by, or people who are already fucking loaded, getting ever richer and richer?

The people who buy those houses already own 20, or 30, or 50, or 100 properties, they're just entries on a spreadsheet. When people like my dad die, the house he was able to buy on a working man's wage has ballooned in value to such a ridiculous extent, that it then simply becomes another 'asset' on a spreadsheet for the already wealthy to extract money from those on far more modest means.

The rich have us right where they want us, fighting like cats in a sack and pointing the finger of blame at each other, whilst they all make out like fucking bandits.

When we have rioting like we did yesterday, they're laughing all the way to the bank.

I have always found it strange that food and goods inflation is viewed as a bad thing yet increased house prices get applauded in the media. We pay a huge chunk of our wages in rents/mortgages.

You're right, there's a very big problem. But the problem is crippling wealth inequality that's getting worse and worse with each passing year. The problem is not immigrants.

This guy has now written a bestselling book, before that he was a very successful trader in London before the pursuit of money nearly killed him, and he realised the pernicious evil that he was a part of. He then dedicated his life, and his money, to fighting wealth inequality.

I'd very much recommend his book, which I bought and have read.

A very interesting watch. The rich and wealthy will have a huge shock in the coming years once we move into a cashless society because the digital age will mean any income will be monitored for rich or poor and will automatically be taxed once it reaches your account. This will make huge inroads into reducing national dept which is probably why governments have had no problem with spend spend spend. Add to that cash in hand work and money earned through criminal activities will be taxed as soon as it hits our accounts.

She did make some good points, but at the end of the day that is how the Government is the Tories was far worse and far more out of touch than labour is. Labour have not been in office that long. But I agree that Starmer should have spoke to people and not ignored them.

I am not giving excuses why he did not do that but maybe there was security concerns? I really do not know maybe they had intelligence that their might have been protesters around close to him. I really do not know.

Yes the media is biased, everyone knows that, they always have been and always will be. The media always have agendas and as I said countless times they are to blame for a lot of shit that happens as well. The media needs far more regulation than it currently has.

But then that would cross the lines of taking press freedom away and would become more of a propaganda led media. But all media outlets do propaganda they just do it in a way to send "the message" You see it more clearly from the "BBC" "GBNews" Sky is more centred. But it is sad really in the UK that we only have 5 news organisations and only 3 main 24 hour news channels.

ITV/BBC are similar in sending "the message" Channel 4 and 5 are more questioning and hold more to account and question a lot more whereas BBC/ITV pretty much accept most things that politicians say and do not really question them properly in other words interrogate them in the interviews etc. Sky on the other hand try their best to question but also do those "messages" but some presenters do question more than others. GBNews on the other hand well that is a right news channel. So they only question views they do not agree with which is those in the centre or left.

Also they only usually get guests on that is right views as well very little get invited to be on their shows that are on the left or in the centre.

Your right, not everything she said is right but I enjoyed her rant and I think she speaks for a lot of people.
I think the media and social media have a lot to answer for. The regular news stations and morning shows regularly wheel out guests to talk very quickly after a news item breaks as well as being personal opinion based rather being bi partisan.
Social media can be even worse where "influencers and commentators " want to be first to comment in order to get those clicks and likes and the truth and accuracy is not important.
Then there is the likes of the Tate brothers spreading their bile to vulnerable young people

So I actually watched all of that, even at seven minutes it was quite a push.

Thing is, if you unpick what she's actually angry about, and it does come out, it's because she's been and/or is poor, and struggling, and knows lots of people who have. Finding it hard to access the basics, such as housing, and public services, and steady meals on the table, without feeling like everything has to be fought for.

The problem, like with so much of this stuff, is who she decides is the problem. To her, it's immigrants being chosen above the 'indigenous population'.

And yet the truth is there's plenty to go around, the UK is a tremendously wealthy country, remember during the Brexit referendum that one of the big rallying cries was how powerful and rich and mighty the UK is? So if that's the case, why are so many people in the country struggling so much? Because we're loaded, right? We've got loads of stuff! We're the mighty UK!

It's because of massive wealth inequality. More and more over time, the country's wealth and assets are being concentrated into the hands of those at the top, and those at the middle and bottom are being squeezed harder and harder. This has become turbocharged since Covid, when the government printed hundreds of billions of pounds and syphoned it into the pockets of the rich (via furlough and other schemes), at the expense of everyone else.

If the rich just put that money in their bank accounts and collected the interest it wouldn't be such a big problem, but the reality is that they use that wealth to buy things, to buy everything. And they have purchasing power that the rest of society has no chance whatsoever of matching.

That's why my dad's old bombsite of a house, basically just a shell that needs £30-£40K spending on it to make it habitable, is going to sell at auction for £100K or more, for a total spend of around £150K once it's all done. No one actually living around there can afford to spend that much, some rich fuck who already owns twenty houses in the area will buy it and turn it into an asset to sweat money out of the working classes from now until the end of time. He'll get richer and richer, and the people paying rent to him will never own a damn thing - as their chances in life shrink away, fighting a war they can never win against people with far more money and resources than they will ever be able to muster.

This is the real crime that's going on, and it's happening right in front of us, the massive transfer of wealth and assets from normal folks into the hands of the rich and super rich. Immigrants are a convenient punching bag that the rich are using as a distraction whilst they carry out their grand larceny.

Many years ago I worked at a venue where a young asian lad was also working and he was a really decent lad. A few years later he wanted a job with me at another venue so I took him on. He was an utter nightmare and would not work alongside females and when he had too he bossed them about and tried to get them to do most of his work. So I had to sack him. While the sacking took place he blew his top and stated that his father was still living back in his own Country and they where in the UK as a plan to take over the Country and introduce Sharia law. He had became radicalized from the time I first knew him and he went on to be arrested for knife crimes.

I work with immigrants all the time and the ones I work with are great people. Normal. Regular people. Why? Because they are doctors, nurses etc. They are educated and skilled. Raised properly.

Thing is, if you unpick what she's actually angry about, and it does come out, it's because she's been and/or is poor, and struggling, and knows lots of people who have. Finding it hard to access the basics, such as housing, and public services, and steady meals on the table, without feeling like everything has to be fought for.

The problem, like with so much of this stuff, is who she decides is the problem. To her, it's immigrants being chosen above the 'indigenous population'.

And yet the truth is there's plenty to go around, the UK is a tremendously wealthy country, remember during the Brexit referendum that one of the big rallying cries was how powerful and rich and mighty the UK is? So if that's the case, why are so many people in the country struggling so much? Because we're loaded, right? We've got loads of stuff! We're the mighty UK!

It's because of massive wealth inequality. More and more over time, the country's wealth and assets are being concentrated into the hands of those at the top, and those at the middle and bottom are being squeezed harder and harder. This has become turbocharged since Covid, when the government printed hundreds of billions of pounds and syphoned it into the pockets of the rich (via furlough and other schemes), at the expense of everyone else.

If the rich just put that money in their bank accounts and collected the interest it wouldn't be such a big problem, but the reality is that they use that wealth to buy things, to buy everything. And they have purchasing power that the rest of society has no chance whatsoever of matching.

That's why my dad's old bombsite of a house, basically just a shell that needs £30-£40K spending on it to make it habitable, is going to sell at auction for £100K or more, for a total spend of around £150K once it's all done. No one actually living around there can afford to spend that much, some rich fuck who already owns twenty houses in the area will buy it and turn it into an asset to sweat money out of the working classes from now until the end of time. He'll get richer and richer, and the people paying rent to him will never own a damn thing - as their chances in life shrink away, fighting a war they can never win against people with far more money and resources than they will ever be able to muster.
