Here you go, I found this "Gem" ( ) of a Google Gadget while I was creating a new "games you find in vegas" website. So I abandoned all design (as you'll see!) and stuck it up.

Its great fun...more of a thought process required. Call it the "manual" version of Crypto's "Bejeweled" or IGT's B&M "Gems"! So bloody addictive I can see this site is gonna take a while

Yeah different versions. The one above you can play also and I think it's more fun as you have to think more - just go the webpage

I hate to reveal this, but I bought the real game and am totally addicted! I always play when I run out of $$. I have to read more about this gadget thing, I don't get it. The real game is smooth and very pretty. I bet I will be playing it a lot more in the near future.

EDIT: Good enough for second place so far but still alooooong way of the lead (simple mode!)

The trick is (I think) to try and make vertical columns so you get more "slide"

What rock have you guys been living under?? Bejeweled can be found from anyone's Yahoo home page (go to Games) and played free. And even offered at play games sites like Virgin Games and the like. (I play in free mode. Sorry, KK. I'm not ready to take that plunge, yet. ) And it IS insanely addictive. There is a similar penny vid slot I've seen in B&M casinos: All That Glitters -- but you do not have any control or actual playing to do, other than pressing the spin button (rather like that game at Crypto).

I usually play Chuzzle (which is a fuzzy cutsey poo 'bejeweled').

Oh... and there's a Bejeweled 2 out there....
