Hello to everyone. Looking around on the site in recent months I realized this site was not just some affiliate marketers trying to make a quick buck at anyone's expense.
I have been gambling since childhood. It started with Poker and Blackjack around age 10, Baseball through a bookie at age 13, and the
ponies at 16.
At 22, I made my first trip to Las Vegas. About 6 months later I bought my first book on Card Counting and mastered a system. I can still play on a highly professional level as a counter in the right (but difficult to find) playing conditions. With all the countermeasures casinos have taken against
counters since the early 80s, it is hard to truly get a significant advantage over the house--but it is definitely still
possible.
I finally realized 95% is psychological control and sound money management but unfortunately I, like most players, have gone on tilt
far too often over the years and do not frequent brick and mortar casinos nearly as often as I used to.
I love Video Poker since it involves a level of skill. The 5 reel slots in my opinion have definitely taken the title of "The Crack of
Gambling" away from Video Poker. They are so fun to play but so very ummmmm CRACK.
My knowledge and experience in gambling are far reaching and I have managed to play professionally for up to 3 years in the 80s in
Vegas and 2 years in the "glory days" of online play in the Microgaming software that is no longer available to the U.S.
I'm glad to be on the site but this is turning into a blog so I'll spare you any more details for now.
