Fund Raiser for Allan "the Captain's" family

I couldn't find a good place in the affiliate section to post this, so here goes:


If you are an affiliate and have been around for a while, you met or have heard of the Captain.

Well, he passed away last week, leaving behind his wife Patty and daughter Melissa.

Patty is suffering from severe emphesema and is wheelchair bound. She desperately needs a lung transplant.

Allan himself was one to help anyone in need and also started fund raisers for people in desperate situations.

In his spirit, let us help Patty in her struggle and give whatever we can spare to make her hard path a little smoother. She is facing some enormous expenses and needs help.

Remembering Allan Leonard: APCW Perspectives Weekly for August 6th, 2010
This past week, the online gambling industry lost one of it's best. Allan Leonard, affectionately known as the "Captain", was a well respected and loved member of the affiliate community. His passing was a horrible end for a man who spent his life blessing others with kindness. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends in this business.




The Captian was a nice guy that loved everyone and I am so sadden to hear this news. My condolences to his wife and family and everyone who called him a friend.

I hear over $14,000 has been raised for Patty! That is fantastic news and I'm sure that she is extremely thankful to everyone who contributed. I just wanted to say thanks to everybody who helped out. It just goes to show how caring our community really is in times like these.
