FREE SPINS - Guidelines

Hi ladies and gents,

CM will be running a dedicated FREE SPINS thread monthly as many of the members enjoy finding assorted freebies and sharing. This has already been run by Bryan and the moderators and approved but there will be a few guidelines so the thread doesn't go off the rails, so kindly take a gander below.

This cannot be stressed enough - please post offers limited to FREE SPINS and to ACCREDITED and BAPTISM BY FIRE casinos ONLY (you may use grey zone casinos, but please use your common sense here).

If you are unsure of a casino's status check it out before posting any offers.

There will be a 0 Tolerance policy regarding posts with aff links, direct links or non-free spins offers. In other words> NO SPAMMING

In each monthly thread you will see something to the effect of:
The Free Spins Monthly thread title, a warning against spamming, and a template to use > please use this and fill in the information for clarity.
It will appear thusly:
Ex -
WHO: Videoslots
WHAT: 10 FS on Starburst
WHERE: Videoslots Casino Review : Best Online Casino 2017- Casinomeister
(if there's any additional info you care to add like an expiry date, please feel free, but let's stick to the template otherwise for simplicity).

There's no harm in mild banter as long as it's kept at that - mild. So that people can readily pick out the freebies please use the red bolded feature as in the template above.
If you don't know how this is accomplished, view the toolbar directly above your post. The 1st A to the right of the U, allows you to use RED.

This month's FREE SPINS thread will be opened shortly
(please don't post FREE SPINS here).

A quick note to reps: kindly use the avenues already provided to you for promotions as this would be a members' thread.

As said, any offer simply needs a WHO, WHAT, WHERE in red bold.

No more, no less.

The WHERE should use the internal CM link to that casino's review.

Replies/comments containing no offer should just be, well normal, replies.

I can't speak for Bryan/dunover, but I'd suspect free spins is just that, free spins - and promotional offers should be directed toward @LadyJelena as that is her remit

Please bear with me because I am knee-deep in grenade pins dealing with and writing up the awards. It is a massive amount of work, and I can't really address too much else in the forum for the moment.

Just because I took a quick peek at the thread doesn't mean I agree with it.

But here is the deal - I really want to get a freebie thread back up because this is something you want. I get it. I'm not stupid, and I'm not a forum fascist.

If you could possible hold off for a few days on the freebie stuff, that would be great. I would like to start up a thread for each month like we do with the screenshots. This way it is actually organized - and I know many of these free offers expire, and who wants to wade though a few hundred postings? So it needs to be organized.

Also, there will be rules. You gotta respect the fact that I have bills and salaries to pay. So if you are posting offers - please do this for the accred casinos with a link to their review page at CM. If it's a grey zone casino, please use discretion - maybe read the casino's review to make sure it's not leaning to the side of dodginess. And if the casino is in the rogue pit - well, I shouldn't have to explain why we can allow freebies for those.

No links to any competitor sites. I'm sure they would have a shit fit if I sent a bunch of members to their sites to post links to our freebies. So please respect my wishes on keeping things in-house.

Also, if you are seeing some brilliant offers elsewhere and you think that they should be listed here, please contact @LadyJelena so that she is aware of them. Jelena is my accounts manager and is the person who is making sure you are getting some great offers here.

So anyway, I hope to have this going in a few days once the smoke clears. It would also be great if some of you MMs or senior members could volunteer to keep this in order. I don't want to be your Spaßbremse, but we must have order.

I also know Netbet is rogued here and was in that thread a lot. If you think they are great then maybe ask Bryan to let them out from the pit. It is possible if it's not a really bad one.

Yes, and as they're in the pit they won't be in the new one - unless they are removed.

Correct. There's a link in the monthly thread so that you can direct members to CMs review page as opposed to simply sending members to the casino (this seems only fair and courteous to your host)
It also gives new (and old) members some insight into the casino.

Actually have found the williamhill review, however its william hill casino club, the affiliate link to the casino doesn't work, states playtech only, lists deposit methods that aren't valid and has screenshots from gowild , maybe needs slightly updating @Casinomeister

Yes, Will Hill do have a review!

Sky were pitted once for affiliate term changes, but not player issues.

They're simply not here anymore, grey, rogue or otherwise. That would suggest CM doesn't have a business relationship for new players any more, so I would err on the side of caution until Bryan tells otherwise.

I was just checking the CM review list casino, and there are lots of casinos that used to be mentioned a lot in the former FS thread.
now, with the new rules, me probably won't share much cause - let's say lack of time - to search and copy/paste the affilate link

honestly, it takes maybe 10 to 30 seconds depending on how slow/fast you type. Personally, I see it as a very small trade-off to prevent the threads being shut down

while there's a direct link, I generally just type (google) the casino name review casinomeister and get it fairly fast, avoiding having to go trawling through the sections
might shave off a bit of time

In most forums usually the moderator would add the casino review link to members' posts. Clever thinking here - let the members do it themselves!
