I self excluded from foxy 2 years ago. Actually from everywhere.
This month a load of transactions from foxy showed up on my statement. I contacted them. They said they have no transactions with my last 4 digits card no.
I’ve emailed them my bank statement, card, and self exclusion confirmation and my ID and it’s been days and no ones got back to me!! Despairing here!! The bank say it’s foxys issue.

Umm, This seems a very odd situation.

Are you sure they are not from when you used to play and they are only just showing up? Have foxy taken money from your account? How did they reply when you emailed them screenshots of the transactions?

Keep us updated please

Definitely not old transactions. New transactions from March this year and 800 ish has definitely gone from my account in the last 3 weeks all as foxy bingo. They haven’t replied at all!

Rubbish. Get back onto the bank, tell them the transactions are unauthorised and you would like to do chargebacks on them all. They have to refund your money. Be aware, they can debit it again if they find out it was you.

In addition to this, once refunds are made to your card, report it lost and get a new debit card. Foxy won't be able to take anything if the long 16-digit number and CVC have changed.

The bank should automatically cancel the card and send a new one out if unauthorised transactions are reported :)

Yes the card is cancelled and a new one coming! But still nothing from foxy! I’ve got 2 disabled, one in hospital and this is literally stopping me from paying parking and all sorts! Foxy need to get onto this of i’ll Be on my knees!

You're wasting your time going to Foxy, the quickest way by far is chargeback through the bank, you will have the money back either today or tomorrow.

Banks have up to 10 working days to process charge backs the twice I have done it (companies sending out wrong orders and dragging their feet with refunds) on both occasions I didn't receive the funds until the 10th moring
That was with Nationwide

If it's an unauthorised transaction it should be done within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). It depends on the reason code the bank puts on it when disputing it. Other reasons take longer as the retailer should get to have their input before the bank refunds.

Fair enough but as this is gambling related I suspect they will take the 10 days even tho the OP states the transaction are Fraudulent..

I have a suspicion that these payments are on the OP's statements from another gambling site but their description as Foxy bingo has caused the 'confusion' here. Anybody play at this group and know which sites use the Foxy processor?

See the other sites in the same Electraworks group:

There are numerous active sites here which may use the name Foxy in their processing data. So the OP needs to categorically assure us here that they haven't spent those matching amounts at an alternative site and are then pleading ignorance due to the label on their bank statement....

I simply cannot see how random Foxy debits can appear out of the blue on somebody's debit card without cause.

Nor can I, but if they are SE'd as they said, they shouldn't have taken the deposits anyway :)

Indeed. But we know that they wouldn't point this out until the depositor complained for a refund of void bets under the SE label or attempted to withdraw a win.

Secondly, how long did they SE for anyway? 1 year? 2 years? We need more info from the OP because something doesn't add up here.

Usually it take some time to get processed, as especially in online gaming, there can be some false claims about unauthorized use of card (no mean in this case by any mean but in general), operator have always chance to get their word about issue where checking for example at least few things:

- Are transactions 3D secure (that's quite strong for operators side as only by knowing card details deposit can't be done without getting through that step).
- Are transactions made from same ip-address than card have been previously used
- Similar patterns in deposits and game play than before

And some other points where operator can "defend" these transactions. Self exclusion is then different story and if that should be in place, then deposits should be returned and game play voided but not too much detailed information here. Hope OP get reply shortly and maybe share outcome with us.

Hi all,

I haven’t played on any gaming sites and I did a 5 year self exclusion in 2017. I also did the Gam stop complete uk self exclusion a year ago so shouldnt be able to register on any gaming site, including all the ElectraWorks sites.

I forwarded my bank statement, ID, self exclusion letter to them and their reply in 2017 and a picture of my card and bank statements.

Thanks for providing details, sounds really weird. Hope they get back to you even though you would make a chargeback. Would be interesting to know their reply, based on this information they for sure should not been accepting any deposits from you, but on the another hand that how they have been charging your card. Have you used card in question on their site? I think it still should not be possible for companies to make charges from your card as they don't store your card numbers but just tokenize it and CVV code should be entered everytime and they should not have it.

Is your card when you use it online, usually going through 3D security that you will be directed to your banks site and you need to add your password (or some random one single used and generated number)?

A very strange one, in my years of gambling I’ve never had any website (good or bad) take money without permission.

No accusations as you’re someone who has clearly identified yourself as a problem gambler hence the self exclusions, I’m hoping you haven’t registered under someone else’s name and deposited money via PayPal or some other e-wallet where you can connect cards to it, that’s the only thing I can see to explain the casino not having any record of your card number.

No offence to OP but I’m sceptical as to whether a reputable casino would take money from your account without permission, it just doesn’t seem right.

Could the OP show a scan of one of the lines on the bank statement? May shed some light.

Hi there, here’s a pic from my online statement.

LOL...I used to go in that shop BRAMPTON NISA about 40 years ago as a little kid. I lived on Belle Isle just around the corner when my dad was posted there in the Air Force. There were bungalows opposite and the shop was called Millard's or something back then.

As for the transactions, if you click on them do you not get more info, i.e. identifier codes?
