I had exactly that scenario somewhere back in the winner screenshots thread... Ditch the others and keep the deuces!! I'm sure this is statistically wrong, but we're all gamblers, right? Go on, hit those four sets of four deuces!!

You've got about a 1 in 4.75 chance of getting the fourth 2 for 1000 coins and a 1 in 20 or so chance of 2 lots of 4 deuces. Or you keep the 500 coins. The odds probably say, keep what you got. But as Slotster says...what the hell... you might get 5000 coins

Not even a close call - the pat wild royal is almost 50% better than holding the three deuces and going for the fourth, even though the wild royal is shorted from 25 to 20 in this version.

The real question is: why were you playing that game at all? Perfect play brings it in just under 98%, and if you need to ask about such a clear call, I guarantee you're misplaying an awful lot. You'd almost be better off playing slots.

Give pontoon a whirl, you'll lose your money over ten times more slowly (assuming comparable wagers) and the strategy is a piece o' piss.

The answer to that question is simple, i'm not a robot IMO the fun factor of this variation of VP makes a 98% return worthwhile. Ill stick to +EV no limit where creativity and an eye for situation more than covers any short comings NOT necessarily cards. Keeps the fun and gamble in the casino where I can deal with losing sometimes as apposed to being bad beat by the casino because i'm expecting to win.

No sweetie, I am right - which "strategy" are you referring to? This game returms just under 98%, and the correct play is over 50% better than going for deuce quads. Rather than leaving cryptic comments for me in my "profile", would you please post them in public where I can see them?

Come on Caruso, there is no need to be so agitated. This thread is quite enlightening and many members have only stated their comments on whether or not they will retain the 2 cards in question. Simply put,you dont get so many of these hands unless you play a lot so there is no definite right or wrong answer. Actually,I would have loved Bubble G to swap the 2 cards so that there will be a chance to show it in the Winners Screenshots if he got the 4 Deuces.

Show me a Deuces Wild Full Pay game with multi-lines, and I'll be in there.

That was my point with the screenshot: the game is full pay, which is why I was playing. That's "real" deuces, not crappy short-pay.

I Take "Chick" Hits!

Didn't take any screenshots yesterday at Inetbet when I was playing for nickels and hit a straight flush (at PickEmPoker) AND four deuces (at single hand VP deuces wild). Why not? Cuz the big boys would probably laugh at me for playing nickels. It was a very exciting experience and I should not make light of it. So next time I will do the screen then proudly post it in the winner's screenshots and the big boys can shower me with whatever banter they choose! BTW, I used to do chick hits as well.

BubbleG I would have kept the hand as dealt and not chanced that mojo was working. It's just a game!

Lastly, I really like that reputation comments can now be viewed as I have learned a lot about human nature.
