There are real people in the world who actually believe everything in print has to be the truth................and there are others who put crap in print and laugh all the way to the bank.............ain't it a crazy world we live in! :D
 
I think the big point is being dismissed here. The point of the youtube video is the double standard taken when John Edwards was reported by the National Inquirer to have an affair. Everyone immediately believed it and it must have been true.

But when the story about Palin having an affair comes out, it's being dismissed as false because it's the National Inquirer.

Pretty hypocritical.

That is true suzecat.

I've had a stalker spreading lies on the internet about GamTrak for over six years now and still doing so to this day :lolup: so I personally dispise people that spread unfounded rumors and lies, without any proof, but I pray for them anyway. :thumbsup:

That affair rumor may be false, but the Palin's do hang out with a group that hates the US (the Alaska Independence Party). To me that is just as bad as cheating on your spouse. Link Removed

That Alaskan Independence Party story is pretty damning but it steers us from the real issues.

But look when stories like Bill Ayers are put into the media, Obama is called out as a terrorist or involved with terrorists.

Another example of a double standard.

Personally, IMO when your husband has been a member for years and you speak at their meetings as recent as four months ago then I'd say that makes her a secessionist as well as a hate monger.:)

Her new "pro-america" statement is raising some eyebrows for sure. I'd like to know where the anti-america places here in the the US that she is refering to. :notworthy

when ever i do buy one of those rag mags, after glancing through it , its used for 3 things in my house, could be 4 if i ever get desperate:eek: (1) something to amuse me and laugh about (2) line my bird's cage with (3) use it to clean my out door windows with (4) if the world goes to hell in a hand basket and i run out of toilet paper or tissues ect, i'll have something to wipe with:D........................laurie
 
Sad part of it is...
The National Enquirer is now the best independent political investigative newspaper in America.

No other "News" source inside the USA has hired as many investigative reporters to cover the elected officials and candidates.... That is a truly sad state of affairs for journalism in America.

Do I believe the Enquirer? Well I didn't want to believe it when it was Edwards (I really liked the guy), but it was true.... Just like it is now with Palin.

I would also like to point out that anyone that plots and conspires to separate or divide the United States in anyway, is in fact a Traitor and should be treated like one.

Please, I realize I am a Canadian, and perhaps should not express my opinion, but your choice of leadership will affect my country as well. We just elected our own idiot.

Who cares if she had an affair? You are not marrying her, you are looking for someone to lead your country. She, as VP, would be largely responsible for the diplomatic duties for this country, a woman who has no idea of world politics. She is not tactful, a trait to be desired when dealing with other countries. She is a warmonger, fiscally naive, and not very experienced politically. And when Americans vote a ticket, there is always a possiblity that the VP will be the leader of your country.

My 2 cents CDN. Currently worth 1.7 cents US

I want to know how a junior senator who nobody even knew existed until this year managed to get the Democratic nomination over the likes of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. Who is the power behind his run for president?

Do I particularly like McCain? Not really. But neither do I like Barack Obama. If I had to chose between the four of them to run the country, I would chose Joe Biden. But we didn't get him, we got someone nobody knew anything about. I think the Democrates chose him for the same reason that the Republicans chose Sarah Palin. Needed a candidate to fit the purpose. For my money Michelle Obama would work better for me for Pres.

If anyone thinks that things are going to change, you are going to be sadly surprised. A sitting president can only do what the Senate and the House of Representatives allow him to do. So if the Democrates are the majority then guess who's running the hen house. It's going to be the same old song, just with a possibly different band.

My son is a Marine and he spent 7 months in Iraq. I had to send him socks, tee shirts, food, as well as shampoo, deodorant and Frebreeze because his sleeping bag stunk so bad he couldn't sleep. Do you actually think I am going to vote for someone who voted against funding the military? Is this country in such sad shape that we can't even furnish socks for the guys that are putting their lives on the line for us? I would vote for Mickey Mouse if he would assure me that the war (all of them) would end immediately and all of our soldiers would be coming home.

Now as for who is sleeping or has slept with who, I don't give a big rat's behind. Is there anyone who actually thinks that it matters? Didn't with Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy and it won't with Sarah Palin.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. It is still the USA even if we are told where we can spend our money.

Nope, actually the thought makes me very uneasy!

She has already been exposed as the type to "Abuse" her power and that alone IMO is a warning sign and possible indication of how she would rule as Commander and Chief!

"Against Funding Our Troops" ???

The claim that Obama "voted against funding our troops" is true. He did, once, last year. But that's hardly the whole story....

Prior to the sole 2007 vote cited by the McCain campaign as justification for this TV ad that's running, Obama voted for all war-funding bills that had come before the Senate since 2005, when he was sworn in. So did all other Senate Democrats, except for a few absences. As recently as April 2007, Obama voted in favor of funding U.S. troops again, but this time Democrats added a non-binding call to withdraw them from Iraq. McCain (who was absent for the vote) urged the president to veto that funding measure, because of the withdrawal language. President Bush did veto it, and McCain applauded Bush's veto. Based on those facts, it would be literally true to say that "McCain urged a veto of funding for our troops." But that would be oversimplified to the point of being seriously misleading, which is exactly the problem with McCain's ad.

Furthermore, by saying that "John McCain has always supported our troops," the ad insinuates that Obama doesn't.

Have you ever heard the names: Halliburton, Blackwater & KBR, well that is exactly where most of the military funding is going, to these companies and others like them...

Hummm, well that's probably because the "troops" have been substituted by non-government civilians (employees of Blackwater) who are not required to follow the same rules the troops have to follow............but just to keep it all real for the media, an occasional slaughter of US troops takes place so we don't wonder who is really fighting this war. :D

What is the breaking news suppose to be? Poor Sean is so desparate for attention that's is sad.

The Ayers stuff is so old it's in black n white. LMAOO Seven minutes in to the program and all they are talking about is what Bill Ayers did.

Reverand Wright - So what if he has issues with America so do a lot of us! So what he is racist so are a lot of other folks! No one can judge what others do or know what that man, his family or relatives has experienced due to segragation and racism! Last time I checked we all have FREEDOM of speech even though some of us would rather not hear it.

With the current economic crisis I'm sure you can find other folks that would like to blow something up and curse our government officials or worse.

More Importantly (you may have missed it), but we learned all of this crap during the primaries and it looks like the last ditch effort to bring it to our attention again is not working.

It's 27 minutes into the program and still NO breaking new so I'm going to turn to Amazing Race 13, Pick up Artist and then Charm School! :thumbsup:

Sean Insanity is such a truly, credible, unbiased source. What a broken record he is. As an independent I don't have time for idiology on either side.

I can't trust (or stomach for that matter) anyone that makes money off the division of the country, Insanity, Coultier, Dick Morris, Limbaugh and even O'Reilly to some extent.

These people are straightshooter Charles Krauthammer, David Gergen, Wolf Blitzer, Ed Rollins, Ben Stein and imho tell the truth good or bad.
