Legendary TV producer Dick Clark has reportedly died at the age of 82, his publicist confirmed to CNN.

According to TMZ.com, Clark suffered a massive heart attack early Wednesday morning and passed away.

Clark was the creator and longtime host of “American Bandstand.”

Damn! That is sad and an end of an era.

I do have to admit, though, that I thought it was coming very soon, since the New Year special at Times Square...but I was rooting for him!

Mike Wallace,Andy Roonie (sp?) and another 'old timer reporter' that I can't think of right now?
