Really is time that casinos brought in a system where every deposit is checked for irregularities and
verification to show it complies with all the regulatory requirements and if it passes these checks
it is given a verified status. Once it has this status , any withdrawals cannot trigger a recheck on
the deposit hoping to find a way of avoiding payment.
Time and time again, the casinos happily accept deposits and while the player is losing say nothing
then flag up a problem when the player tries to withdraws
Most times the casino already enough has info on the player to know if there is a problem at the point
of deposit.
It could slow down some deposits but on past player history the casino should know when to take action
if something changes eg change of address,change of card or larger deposits.
It would go a long way towards protecting the player and esp the casino as it would show they were
complying with the minefield of regulations

Totally agree, I have just ran into a big problem at casumo tonight.

I have been a member since 2017, and when i joined i sent docs in so i could be verified. I have played on and off since then and tonight I fancied a flutter, BIG MISTAKE.

I make a deposit of £25 which lasted all of what felt like 10 mins so made another 25 and continued playing which went just as fast, so another 50 i go and i think another 50 and thats it.

A few spins in i get what looks like a bonus on the slot im playing when a popup comes up about have to verifiy. So i look and they want the usual then email me about wanting ID proof of addy and may require other docs which of course we all know means SOW.

So i submit the DL and pic and a recent letter for the address.

However as my DL is now out of date and I cannot actually prove SOW im thinking i might be in trouble here.... so go on live chat and after some discussion, she seems to think the DL is ok and other docs, so i then start to mention about the SOW, she says well we not actually asked for that yet so dont worry! Im like yeah hang on have I now put myself in a position where I have no chance to win, as if i lose thats fine but should i try and cashout i cant? And lo and behold withdraws are blocked.

To keep it short after much going around the houses she then backs up a bit and states i dont need to provide SOW at this time even tho earlier she said its all the new rules we have to ask for all these docs ID proof of address and where funds came from.

So now she has closed the account forever, and says i will get the funds that were left on the account and thats it. WTF!! That just stinks that there happy to take my loss tonight and close the account but what if i was up 200 would they have paid out without the docs? would they heck so its totally one sided, If you lose they win and if you win they still win as they not going to pay someone like me that dont have up to date docs.


This has shown to me tonight that my fears have been well founded and that I will have to now CLOSE ALL my online casino accounts and not play at all because I can see me being in a constant position of never being able to win and only lose.


My friend has just told me that i should contact my bank for a chargeback as I was never going to be able to cashout a win and thats a breach of contract? I know what you guys think about them so asking for some advice here please, or if anyone knows who the casumo rep is then please point him/her to this and PM me.

Im gutted that i have lost the ability to have a flutter to these rules, its just ****ing rubbish.

And now on trying to log on to resume the unfinished game, its "you have self excluded" WHAT? I never said that, self exclude implies i have a problem? eh no I have a problem with only being allowed to gamble with no chance of success! Madness the way things are going.

Haha if you played slots lately you would know that even at min bets £25 - £150 dont get you much playtime if you dont hit any bonuses, and signs of losing control are spending more than you have to lose, which i dont, bills are paid food in fridge, but your right slots are getting to the point of too expensive even on min bets.
