Now in all fairness, maybe she thought this was a good place to post spam, promote rogues and sell her tip sheets on how to beat roulette. She may be doing us a favor by ad-hearing to forum rules and moving on.

Can never be sure though, just in case, I don't believe it can be deleted, just have to let it go 'dormant'.

I have no clue why the others sound rude but I think it's sad that you're leaving.

I don't think your account can be deleted, but you can send a pm to one of the moderators and they will change your account to dormant.
That way if you change your mind and will come back, then they will just open it again for you

Edit: Actually it's embarrassing reading all responses. Are you feeling insulted guys?

To be fair when the lady joined she posted questions about bingo sites as that is what she plays most. And as there is not a lot of bingo topics here she has found a site for bingo players that gives her the info she wants. So after realising her mistake she makes a simple comment asking how to delete her account as a lot of people don't like staying members of a place they won't use. Unlike other people she has not said anything bad about the forum only it doesn't suit her which I understand as she plays bingo most so like tirilej said is there any reason to be so nasty to someone just because they ask how to close their account. Could understand if she had been abusive but the posts she made were all pleasant enough.

This is like going to the front of a restaurant and getting on the loudspeaker and saying " can someone help me find the exit so I can leave, I found a better restaurant."

As the others have mentioned we don't really delete accounts.That would orphan all your posts to date and mess things up on the forums. But we can flip your account to Dormant and so I will. Let us know if you ever decide you'd like your account to be active again.

Yes indeed her posts were nice enough, and have substance in them.

OP-Sorry that I was so agressive on my first post. I read into it too much.

If it is about this site not being dedicated to Bingo the OP could check in from time to time and help out the bingo section.

I think its ridiculous how the lynch mob mentality can be sometimes. Some incredibly outrageous posts for absolutely no reason. She has the right to request this. Maybe she has a fear of her account getting hacked, her email etc. She is a bingo player by the looks of it and found another place.
