I’ve put ten on yesterday and hit a base game win of £150 within first 3 spins I know what game my dough will be going on for a bit had more fun than I have on bonanza in long while

The reason why they changed it again is because some CM members and probably players in other forums asked to have more bet sizes at the lower end.

They launched it with just one coin - 0.09, 0.18, 0.45, 0.90, 1.80 and 4.50, one bet size for each coin value.
After the change you have now: 0.09 + 0.18, 0.18 + 0.36, 0.45 + 0.90, 0.90 + 1.80 and 1.80 + 3.60, two bet sizes for each coin value.

Going up to the 0.50 coin value after the change would have meant that they allow bets of up to $9 which they didn't want as they released it with a $4.50 limit. And Netent can't offer to block the second coin just for one value, so they had no other choice but to drop the 0.50 coin entirely.

To be honest, I would limit it too as the slot turns out to be as predicted quite the beast. Paying out over 5k on a measly 18 cents bet is pretty much unheard of. :D

The wife had a few pence from an old bust out in her Casumo account and fluked the bonus earlier.

Advising her to pick the low volatility one to at least possibly secure her some play time (and maybe a cash out so I can do the battle weekend :p) imagine our shock when she easily triggered the extra 5 spins and eventually peaked at a whopping 23x multiplier :eek:

Also imagine our rage as the final 11 spins returned sweet FA :p

But why is it just VS liming the slot? I just played DoA2 at a casino where the max bet was 18€ :eek:. Image 30k x bet on a 18€ bet .. rip casino.

Also the coin values make no sense. Why limit the lower end too? I understand limiting max bet but it literally makes no sense, that you can't play this game at 0.27 or 0.72 for example.

They are the only site AFAIK who have limited it so low though, and It was a hit that may well never be repeated.
I'd say it's more a reflection of VS's cashflow than anything else.
Especially as they've currently got a house-edge of 15% on it

Bwin is also limited to €3.60.

I've checked all the available casino's in Belgium and Bwin is the only one with the "low" max bet. Others have either €9 or 18.

Exactly the same happened to me, x26 multiplier with 10 spins remaining, all dead!

Because Netent cannot restrict 3 bet sizes from one coin value and two from the next coin value.

E.g. they can adjust to 2 bet sizes across all coin values but not different from coin to coin.

You do like to give VS a hit whenever you can, don't you? And defend your beloved Nektan sites who have one of the worst bonus terms as well as are one of the slowest payers.

No, it is not a reflection of their cashflow, it is their risk assessment as any sensible business would do.

The Nektan sites can do easier higher bet sizes because a lot of the wagering at their casinos is with bonus money since they hand them out like candy. For that they limit cash conversions to 4x bonus amount or something like that. So their risk is by far lower.

Other casino might limit it too in the future if such hyper wins happen more often. We don't know that. And to be honest, I will not check now all the 3,000+ casinos out there what max bet they have. Could well be that in demo mode they have $18 and in real play it is lower.

Erm... I'm not defending Nektan, in any way shape or form. I don't play at their sites. I was merely pointing out to that poster that Nektan aren't the tin-pot company that most people think they are.

Risk assessment is about what they could comfortably afford to pay out. So of course it's connected to cashflow.
I'm not saying VS are under-funded, but they're maybe not as well-funded as some would think

You only need look at that thread about how VS tried to split a 'Divine Fortune' jackpot up in to seperate payments, and then had to backtrack and stump up the whole amount, because it was a UK player.
Although withdrawals of >50k, may still be delayed upto 30 days, to be paid in full.
Do they still have a maximum withdrawal limit (for no-UK players) in place?

Also any sites I've looked at the max bet at, have been in real play. The majority are at £9 and the bigger sites (Unibet MrGreen etc) are at £18. So I would expect a conscious decision has been made by those sites, when choosing the stake

yeah i know man.
i can just imagine a lot of players wagering the deposit, losing, then wagering the bonus and if getting lucky - having it then only convert down to 4x the bonus amount. and then playing on because the conversion amount might be to small to consider withdrawing, and many might continue to try and increase the converted amount, or ultimately bust.. rather than withdraw a small amount. something some might not consider on a slightly higher conversion.
was thinking it might help in contributing towards that colossal amount of yearly playthrough over multiple sites.

In business, reducing risk exposure has nothing or very little to do with cash flow. It is the amount you want to risk being liable for and does not necessarily reflect where your cash flow is. A business or a casino can be very profitable and sitting on a huge pile of cash, yet minimises risks where possible. I would call that a smart move.

Plus, Videoslots is in general a casino geared towards low and medium rollers. The vast majority probably never bets higher than a buck or two, which is perfectly OK.
