Hi,

I am new to CM and I've been searching the site to find a way to set a signature for myself for my posts and replies, but I'm having tough time trying to find the feature. Please advise.

Thanks in advance,

Jaxon

Jaxon, if you want to add the tag line "igaming rep" or something similar under your name like where mine says "Guru Gaming" then go to "User CP" and click on "Edit Details" and then scan down the page to where it says "Custom User Title" and type in what you want it to say....

Now if you want to insert a link into your signature area at the bottom of your posts go to "User CP" and on the left hand column there is one that says "Edit Signature" , click on this and here you can add words, phrases, pics or links to your signature...hope you figure it out man...:thumbsup:

The reason you are unable to do so is because you only have a few posts and are not a "fully registered member". For a further explination visit this page: Link Outdated / Removed

The privilage to own a signature is not given, it's earned. :thumbsup:

Thanks Rob... I try this out and if it works, you'll see my signature! Thanks again.

Quite so CasinoKidd, and well said.

FWIW, once you do have access to the sig feature it will appear in the sidebar of the User CP (Control Panel), like this:

CasinoKidd,

Thanks for the link. I just read through it and I guess I'm like a rookie that has to carry all the teams bags right now... lol. I'll just have to post more and earn my stripes before I can get a signature, but for now, I'll just type it every time.

Thanks again,

Jaxon

@Jaxon: couple things worth mentioning:

1) get in touch with [profile]Casinomeister[/profile] and he can bump you over into the Industry Representatives user group (that alone may enable your sig) and,

2) I see you've more or less faked a sig by adding links to the bottom of your post: you should know that that is generally considered bad form ... because if you were supposed to have sig access then that feature would be enabled.

Maxd,

Thanks for the information. Yeah, I didn't really know what the rules and regulations of the forum were until just the other day. I have spoken to the Meister, but I still have to reply to him. In the meantime, I am not including any links in my fake signature, but is it okay to have something like this (see sig)? Please advise and thanks in advance.
