Thats the problem though, and something people don't understand when they say xx beds are empty. You can't put covid patients in with non covid ones. So you could have say 10 wards of 6 beds, 5 with one patient in each (different wards for different problems) so 25 free beds, and also have 5 wards of 6 beds which are full with covid patients. If you get another covid patient, you have ran out of beds. You can't put one in one of the empty ones in case others catch it.Many of her friends where posting that she was in the right place. The right place was where she caught it and was lucky not to have caught it 6 weeks ago.
Something needs addressing IMO
The figures would show about 45% empty beds, but in fact, for covid patients there are 0% free beds.
The hospital trust should be took to task about what happened in this case.

And agreed, toxic at times. I've even championed to have it closed. But the reality is, it's an omnipresent factor in everyones lives. And there are some salient points when sifting wheat from chafff.
