Corona virus - Covid 19 discussion

A fucking MEN.

Absolute joke, only people I will allow to lecture me is the front line staff at least they out their risking their lives. But these people sitting at home waxing lyrical and preaching the gospel whilst doing nothing themselves can frankly **** OFF.
And as you don’t have a clue what any of us do of this site, where we work or what knowledge we have of what’s going , this post sums up your contribution.......

I am disabled I can't walk so no I'm not out there that is true. I also have severe asthma so have been told by my doctor to try very hard not to catch this.

What have I done. Given pennies where I can .... Feed the London homeless. Matt lucas feed the nhs. Allowed my daughter to raid my cupboards for her friend who is self isolating with no food it's not much but its better than charging around outdoors adding to the problem... which you seen in favour of.

Same old bull crap you come up with ? Why not answer the questions that you were asked last week? You had ample opportunities to answer yet you just ignore? You are the one that knows the real truth , enlighten me.

What like the last time when I posted the true statistics from the Italian government showing the majority of deaths were 90% over 65 and this was the reply from Borgie

"Also these old people as you keep saying who obviously you think it's ok to let die not only died they died alone with nobody to comfort them . The manner of death was them being asphyxiated. How dreadful must that have been. But hey they were mostly old so that is ok. I am disgusted."

All did was post the statistics showing the deaths and it showed the majority of deaths were older people and it was completely twisted back on me saying I am happy old people are dying? and you seriously expect me to answer questions with such idiotic replies like that accusing me of saying it's okay that old people died, just because I posted the ISS statistics? Futile doesn't even begin to cover it.

There is a device on the market that has been out for many years, that involves breathing with himalayan rock salt that dramatically reduces or even almost cures asthma even though I don't have it myself I have recommended it to friends who do, amazon is full of testimonies of how much it helps sufferers, don't know why I am telling you this when you have been so abusive towards me.

Ty for that. I have been to a salt cave in the past and it does help. If it was a cure there would be no people at all with asthma though I am guessing. As salt caves and devices cost that may be prohibitive maybe.

This is one of the many positive reviews about it.

The device is called Salitair and costs £14.95 on their site and you just need to buy high quality rock salt, usually himalayan is good.

Sorry but this is just idiotic. Scaremongering? Zero context? Have you looked at the amount of hospital beds being taken up solely by people with coronvirus and we are nowhere near the peak?
Please explain that to me? Please explain to me why we need 4,000 beds in the excel centre? Please explain to me the need for field hospitals in NI, Scotland, Wales? That is the context that we are in at this moment in time, if this was some overstatement by the establishment why are these people falling ill and taking up beds, forcing the need to possibly destroying the whole economy, forcing the need for ventilators to be sourced anywhere they can get them?
Would a tory government get into so much debt just for a conspiracy theory? Tell me why they are doing that, just explain to me why i have friends in hospital with this, and why i know people who have died in the last week from this? Why could their families not be at their bedside when they passed away?
Please explain all this to me and I will gladly agree that this is all just blown out of all proportion.
These are the questions that i was looking answered....

Maybe its me the home secretary needs some lessons in public speaking.
Its doing not doin, thinking not thinkin, any message gets lost on me as I just waiting for the next "in".
Doesnt matter a jot in normal life but when adressing the nation its just irritatin.
Jesus man are u a Labour supporter by any chance?? No government since WW11 has had to deal with anything like this.
One country does one thing another something different we can harp on about how the Germans/swedes/Americans ETC are handing it the only problem being no country knows if what they are doing is the right thing.
Boris has bailed out the Majority of the country including the charity sector yet all the European countries have been left to their own devices and all u do is bash the governments effort.
Anyway what lock up BEER/BONANZA/BBQ happy days

I have a graph showing the occupancy of beds in London ICUs and the report was showing around 75% occupancy, I will have to find the report again, this graph shows bed occupancy in ICU's in London was higher during this time compared to the current situation now, for those in Ireland take a look at this woman who reports tirelessly what the mainstream in Ireland does not.

My sister is a Triage nurse in a Belfast hospital and her words were( she dreads going to work as it’s that quiet it’s impossible to get a shift in) let’s all happy clap on Thursday night for 90% of the NHS doing damm all.
Maybe the next time our young men and women are dying on foreign battlefields the country will start a happy clapper club.

And this is the reality of whats happening. Today the Health Minister in NI has asked for the army to help in getting a field hospital set up. That doesnt happen for a flu. The people who are in the front line know whats happening, I see it through my work, we havent peaked yet and still theres almost a thousand deaths due to Coronavirus in the least 24 hours.

And you seriously don't bother to check or research what is in vaccines? I am very concerned when I research about them and what is in them, the vaccine injury fund that pays out is over 4.1 billion, this is just only a partial list of ingredients, your line in the sand is drawn and so is mine, so let's just leave it at that, conversing with you and certain others just brings negative energy, encourages negative posts, which does not help anyones immune system in these current times.

It's Sunday. The birds are singing. Y'all know where the ignore button is if needs be.
edit - Saturday; eesh lol

I dont know where the ignore button is?

How dare you make up something like this and back it with no evidence. I feel your statement was 'ad hominem' towards the entire community.

Where do you get off abusing front line community members like that. Have you looked out the window? The streets are empty Dion, empty!!!!!!

Your a disgrace! I would research before posting such wild and inflammatory comments.

Enough said ;)

I know 'alternative viewpoint theorists' have been forewarning how we'd all get vaccinated against our will, have microchips put in us and how 5G's going to melt our eyes.

So whilst not overly enamoured with a rush-job immunization vaccine en masse, just propose for a second that Corona is very much real and very much incapacitating the world at present.

Surely better to have something put in effect for older age groups that are more vulnerable to onslaughts of this virus, much like the flu jab etc.

Though really it ought not to be mandatory until its side-effects can be fully known. I mean what, are we going to stop Rubella and Measles vaccines for kids because it goes against their human rights?

Furthermore, any sort of Covid-repellant is bound to do more good than harm I'd imagine, especially as we've seen 'cured' patients re-contract it :eek2:

From reuters about vaccines 11 mar 2020:

Behind the scenes, scientists and medical experts are concerned that rushing a vaccine could end up worsening the infection in some patients rather than preventing it.

Studies have suggested that coronavirus vaccines carry the risk of what is known as vaccine enhancement, where instead of protecting against infection, the vaccine can actually make the disease worse when a vaccinated person is infected with the virus. The mechanism that causes that risk is not fully understood and is one of the stumbling blocks that has prevented the successful development of a coronavirus vaccine.

Normally, researchers would take months to test for the possibility of vaccine enhancement in animals. Given the urgency to stem the spread of the new coronavirus, some drugmakers are moving straight into small-scale human tests, without waiting for the completion of such animal tests.

“I understand the importance of accelerating timelines for vaccines in general, but from everything I know, this is not the vaccine to be doing it with,” Dr Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, told Reuters.

Hotez worked on development of a vaccine for SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), the coronavirus behind a major 2003 outbreak, and found that some vaccinated animals developed more severe disease compared with unvaccinated animals when they were exposed to the virus.

“There is a risk of immune enhancement,” said Hotez. “The way you reduce that risk is first you show it does not occur in laboratory animals.”

Hotez testified last week before the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space and Technology about the need for sustained funding for vaccine research. There remains no vaccine for any of the new coronaviruses that have caused outbreaks in the past 20 years.

So I wonder why they're so confident there can be one for this variant? Apparently the coronavirus family mutate a lot which causes problems for the vaccine makers, and why there's never been a vaccine for the common cold.

I'm not keen on mandatory vaccines, how are you going to enforce that on healthy adults, and I don't trust bill gates much either, and he seems to be the main man when it comes to world wide vaccine programs/plans.

from robert f. kennedy jr's twitter:

Public health advocates around the world accuse Gates of steering WHO’s agenda away from projects proven to curb infectious diseases: clean water, hygiene, nutrition + economic development + serves Gates philosophy that good health only comes in a syringe.

^ just a thought, no need for any vaccine fans to be angry, generally speaking the body's own immune system doesn't do too bad a job, having bill and melinda try to improve on nature doesn't really fill me with hope more trepidation.

I hear there are 140 vaccines in the works worldwide.

Therein lies the dilemma. What if the wrong one(s) get doled out and people are 'urged' to take them.

There is no way of knowing the repercussions of that for quite some time. Nor are pharmas going to hone the 'perfect' vaccine as the pressure to come up with a solution is immense (not to mention lucrative)

Clean water, hygiene, nutrition + economic development is pretty much the main points of what the Gates foundation have been, and are doing.
But since vaccines are involved (and has been since 2000, nothing new) that makes him some sort of vaccine-forcing boogeyman?

Sure, the bodys immune system is not bad at what its doing.
But whats so wrong with "improving on nature" as you called it.

Thats what basically all medicine and alot of other things are, right?
So if we find a medicine preventing things like parkinson, alzheimers etc we should not use it because its nature wants us to to have those diseases?
People with bad eyesight should stop using lenses and glasses because nature wants them to have shitty vision.
