Well this one is very vague. Even for me
I would love it if there was some more happy/non-complaints content/threads, aka a bigger part of the forum.
Like most of the stuff on here is people complaining. Don't get me wrong, those are usually the best topics, because the discussions are great.
But sometimes I have to think about my own well being :p and stay above average positive. It can be a little too much at times, the whining and bitchin.

Okay so what then.. well I didn't think of anything before posting this.
Maybe another thread like the 'what are you listening to' topic, for instance: what are you playing (non-gambling games). watching (tv/movies etc)
Probably a lot of people here with better ideas for it.. at least if I'm not the only one feeling this way.

I just watched a really funny movie called Red with Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and Karl Urban, etc., etc. Lots of action, lots of laughs!

I'm currently reading a book called, "The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven" true story. Interesting read if you are into religious books.

Sounds great! Gotta try and dig that one up.

Ohhh, that sounds really yummy jasminebed! I don't eat pork though! I've read some of your recipes and you have a few I'm gonna try when I have someone to cook for besides myself;)

lol thanks for the effort guys..
but I meant it more like not just for me, but in general, I think this site would improve, get (even) more daily visits, if it had some more non-complaints topics..

Well out of 40 or some separate forums here, six are set up for complaining. It's just that people like to vent, bitch and moan, and complain. You need conflict in any situation, a story, film, book, life, or forum to make it interesting. A box full of cuddly puppies is not intrinsically engaging. Try to make a film about a box of puppies, and you'll be bored to tears in about 45 seconds. You need some drama, like a starved wolf lurking in the background - or a snake. Then you have tension, which touches our emotions, thus drama and engages us.

The same goes for a forum. Happy clappy gamblers touting their most recent wins tend to be ho-hum until someone gets ripped off. And "yay!" we all like train wrecks don't we

But it is true, it gets to be a bit too much sometimes. That's why we have many functions and other things to do in this forum. You can start up your own Social Group, your own blog. Start a poll, organize a contest, refer-a-friend, there are many things you can do here - you are only limited by your imagination (and my say-so of course) :D.

A long litany of complaints, whinges and attempts at revenge can get a bit wearing at times, especially when it's been a bad day or week for that sort of drama, but the value lies in the exchange of information with others that might help obviate some other poor bugger being screwed over.

IMO that more than justifies having complaints aired and it is therefore one of the more valuable aspects of CM...it helps operators keep in touch with problems, too, and the good ones will use it to improve their activities.

So it's a small price to pay for a very useful advantage...and there are so many other diversions on this site that you can easily occupy yourself elsewhere on it if the complaints thing gets too much for you.

It's been done. Remade, and a sequel too!

101 Dalmations - original animation
- remade as movie
102 Dalmations (not sure I counted right) made later as a sequel.

Far from being 45 seconds long, the original was over an hour, and the remake even longer.

Maybe a film about a box of kittens?

Nope, been done too, Aristocats

Box of kids??

Been done as well, MANY times.

Oliver Twist
St Trinians
Shindler's list (won many awards, hardly "boring").

How about a box of casinos?

Now that WOULD be a drama, what with all the chases, crashes (mostly caused by Microsoft driving updates reclessly), swings from elation to dark depression, secrecy, spies, tension (waiting on a withdrawal).

This has NOT been done (yet) for online casinos, but I am sure Vegas qualifies as a "box of casinos" in the real world, and there are MANY films about Vegas.

How about a box of complaints?

That too has been done, but mainly by TV.

Watchdog
Rogue Traders
Fake Britain
Points of View (original BBC series from long ago, where viewers write in to (mostly) complain about crap telly).
