What is a Casinomeister Review?​

This is a topic people often bring up, not just for CM's reviews but the industry's at large. So we want to shed some more light on the subject insofar as it concerns our reviews and our approach to them.

The primary purpose of a casino Review at Casinomeister is to inform and advise our readers on sites where they might choose to play. The Reviews are written by Casinomeister staff – and a few carefully selected freelancers – while the Ratings are all done in-house by our casino specialists. The point is to be objective and relatively thorough in our assessment of the site in question.

Who writes the Review and assigns a Rating?​

The Content team uses a fixed structure to deliver the key casino information – a peek at the Welcome Page, Bonuses & Promotions, Banking options, etc – and I add a Max’s Desk section to give a little perspective from the Forum and Complaints side of things.
With all the basic casino data in hand a Rating is determined based on, again, a pre-defined set of criteria.

What you need to know about our Reviews and Ratings​

The key points are:

• The Review is written from our own research.
• A Review may be commissioned by a casino – they want to be listed on Casinomeister – but we write the Review ourselves.
• The initial Rating we give is based on the info available to us at the time of writing the Review.
  • do keep in mind that things change — constantly! — and it can take a while for us to become aware of that and incorporate the new information.
• Ratings aren’t for sale.

How and When are Reviews and Ratings updated?​

• Ratings and Reviews are periodically reviewed and updated based on either the need to do so – important new information becomes available – or a casino comes up in our rotating update schedule.
• We do use player feedback from the Forums and Complaints to trigger and/or guide the updates.
