If you're after sympathy, that is SO the wrong way to get it.

And anyway, the thing i don't get is this:

I have a house right? I throw a party. One or two of the revellers get a bit pissed. I have to chuck them out. When i get home from work each day they are in my Kitchen having a beer, getting pissed again. So i change the lock. My house. My solution.

Where's the problem? They can go somewhere else right?

I'm sure those you mention above are great guys, and they have their own house now. It's actually a very good idea too although unfortunately there is so much bitterness on the forums they are in danger of undermining the whole concept IMHO. Totally put me off anyway. But my point is, i think you'd fit right in.

Good luck with getting a life.

Simmo!

.
I predict this post will have a bright future.

Amen to that! This one should run and run. For entertainment value alone, its gonna be worth getting up in the morning :)

PS. I so wanna vote "PUNK" just for the hell of it. Stop me someone stop me! :D

Hmmm looks like you have upset someone Bryan

Damian Dunlap - the "leader" of the OPU who can't get over being banned from this forum for abusive postings, is making his fourth entry under the radar.

When you are banned - you're banned - get over it.

He also tried to derail/sabotage the tsunami auction that Spearmaster and I conducted last January (which raised $111,000 for UNICEF) which in my eyes is unforgivable. I will never let him back into this forum knowingly.

Sure, I was outspoken on the fact that he wants to represent players and player issues, yet he won't make a public effort to appear like he can - verbally. I was concerned that no operator would take him seriously. Fine, he didn't like what I said, but he took it personal and began to get stupid. Then like a child who didn't get his way, he sets up a casinomeister-sucks website and tried to screw up the tsunami auction by making fake bids. Some spokesperson.

And then in May - Damian sends me this garbage:

My goal is to smash you. Nothing to do with hate. so please keep this and pass it around. I am out to smash you homie. I got the money to back me and i am just starting. Make a public apology and it will all end.

Sometimes my kids are sitting here with me when I receive my emails, and they have to see this shit. They can read y'know.

Well he's got his own forum to pollute, and he's still allowed to post on WOL (where he has a history of being banned) - so go away little boy. I don't have time for your stupid nonsense.

As for Cipher, the man was a long time poster - but he tended to let his anger get the best of him. If you want to know what I mean, feel free to search the forum for his last series of postings. I don't think anyone would allow such abuse.

igami/casinogossip has been banned at GPWA and CAP and now here. I am very busy, and I found him to be increasingly annoying. The crap he posted at his site is just a bunch of BS, and most people that I know, know this as well. Posters like him are what are called "time vampires" (like you Damian). You suck up people's time.

Other bannings? Mostly spammers and players posting fraudulant claims. The forum (like any other successful forum) has rules, and I make it clear that these rules exist. If you don't like the rules, please feel free to post elsewhere.

And I am a very easy going guy; I'm pretty fair and open minded - really. But like Simmo inferred - this is my livingroom, don't defecate on the carpet please.

By the way, punkmeister.com is mine :D

Interesting brief history concerning the OPU and the person behind it. :eek2:

As for iGami. The idea in principle is a good one, but he has shown from his brief appearance here and the subsequent Crapmeister rant on his site that he is probably not the best person to carry the torch for us affiliates. Regulating this industry is always going to be a hard task to achieve due to the very nature of the beast - this is the internet and as such how do you go about even starting to regulate it?

For affiliates there is already a good resource in the form of CAP and it does have a loud voice and some considerable leverage. Although that said many casinos have shown their disregard for CAP and affiliate webmasters by making these recent changes to their T & C's.

However the onus is on CAP and also the GPWA to co-ordinate it's membership to resist these changes being made, using it's strength of the membership base it calls on.

But at this moment in time there is no official body similar to eCogra for players, that can approve affiliate websites and ensure they do not promote casino operations where players may or can get screwed.

The likes of CAP and the GPWA are in an ideal position to ensure that both affiliates and players are protected by only recommending casinos/poker rooms that do not cheat the players or affiliates. To some extent I do not believe this is happening yet. Just my observation.

In short it is a minefield for the avid online gamer. Although in 2005 many more people are wiser to the fact that there are sharks out there. In this industry which is faceless, integrity is everything and most are finally getting this message.

The onus is on affiliate webmasters to ensure the operations they promote and recommend are reputable and as such their visitors who they put through to these casinos do not get turned over.

Tim where is the option:
D) all of the above

I think Bryan and Damian should hug and make up. Life is too short.

Regarding the poll, it is missing an option.

I would like to vote Bryan the god of punk! :notworthy

So now the question is, will we see purple spiky hair in Vegas? :D

I voted for True Watchdog. Though I think another option should have been

"Has the patience of a saint"

I am often amazed at just how patient Bryan really is with visitors. Let's face it if you get banned here YOU DAMNED WELL DESERVED IT

Kudos to Casinomeister for having what most of us in the industry consider "The Best Players Forum Online"
:notworthy

Thanks!

So in case you're forgetting which selection to vote for, I thought I'd make it easier for you all.

Here I am "punk". By the way, the operator of the Crystal Palace group (I'm not allowed to say his name in public anymore :D) cast a vote for me here.

Yes, I can see who votes for what :D

Me Punk:

What if you wanted to say "XXXXXX XXXXX aka XXXXXX XXXXXX aka XXX XXXXXXX aka XXXXXXX XXXXXX runs the best casinos, most honest promotions, fastest payouts and best CS service on the net - and I plan on putting all his casinos on the homepage within the month".

Betcha you'd get away with filling in the blanks then. :):):)

(If anyone wants to play at "fill in the blanks" with me as judge, I suggest we do it via PM. :))

Ah ho good were the Ramones *sigh* - saw them live at Brixton Academy, one of the best gigs i ever went to. RIP.
