Does anyone understand why some hold back?

Videoslots - Needed to verify card(done within 50 minutes0), withdrawal processed 1 hour later and in my bank by morning
BGO - Paypal withdrawal still pending after 24hrs
Betfair - 24hr pending withdrawal sometimes longer
Fruitycasa - 48hr pending period and longer.......

I barely deposit at VS, but i feel ashamed I don't support companies like this more. How hell do they get it in my bank in less than 24hrs when every other betting site takes 3-5 days to hit my bank. And why do so many casinos make you wait, even accredited ones.

The official line is they have a pending period to check your gameplay for any irregularity and in some cases wait for your deposit to fully clear with the bank (if using a debit card).

I find most UK based operators get on with it and pay same day, the Maltese generally take longer. Scandi based operations like to deliver high standards and send payments within minutes, not hours or days.

Kudos casino docs delay

I've just recently started playing on fairly new casino, sister to inetbet, Kudos. They don't offer bonuses ( a plus ) but do have a cashback program. Of course I won $2000 on $18 cashback and can only get 20x but better than a sharp stick in the eye! Anyhow, sent in docs and there was a bit of an issue as I had a new debit card but got them all they asked for over several days yesterday...meanwhile not touching my $360 cashout - played out the other $1600!!! After multiple emails about why I was not able to withdrawal as they had all docs and live chat ( when u can finally get them) had told me it should only be a few hours until I can withdraw, I finally got an email today saying they needed 48-72 hrs , weekends not included, to review my docs then I would be able to withdraw.....This seems like an excessively long time and I haven't even started the withdrawal process. And deposit was made with bitcoin! IMO not a great way to start out a new business! the email I finally got today was not exactly rude... just curt but sooo don't feel like valued player... Sigh... US players are getting less and less options ( especially with CWG gone) with what seems like poorer customer service...
will keep you guys updated about withdrawal times

Well that was a very diplomatic explanation Nicola :D

We all know the real reason casinos leave withdrawals pending is in the hope you'll reverse and play on. There's no other reason. This official line they give us of "checking your gameplay for irregularities" would mean the casinos are admitting their games are not random and can in fact be beaten by certain gambling strategies.
