I get quite a lot of spam normally so thought I'd start naming and shaming.

This mornings was from goldenkeycasino and crazyslotsclub

what I found strange is neither site promote an affiliate program so Im guessing they have come direct from the casinos

spoke to the goldenkey LS and they were very vague and almost admitted it was from them and not an affiliate

jokers

This leads to the question of from whom they got your data. Maybe they can be pressured into spilling the beans on this, especially if you give them the impression that this would shift the blame from them to the supplier of the data;)

I run an affiliate site mate so somewhere along the line an affiliate or affiliate program has sold my email address at a guess

I know at one point my email was being used by an Israeli affiliate who is well known in the industry for spamming but think he has stopped badgering me, still plenty more at it though, as well as rouge providers

He probably sold on your email to his mates too once he had stopped bothering you.

The casinos probably got it from the same spammer's market as other spammers, which gives us an indication of the reliability of the casino in terms of fair treatment of players.

2 spam emails today both from affiliates

one seems to be from vipbingo.org for 888casino

and the other is for casino.com

reported both so will see what the responses are

It could also be a simple error from an affiliate program. I had an Accredited Casino Affiliate Manager send me and others an update on offers. They actually sent the email with all the intended recipients visible in the 'To' field.

The result of this (a real eye opener) is how desperate some affiliates are. Ever since my email address was included in that field, I have been relentlessly spammed:mad:

These asshole spammers don't give a flying rats ass about who they send out their junk to. It's just a matter of sending out 1 million emails in the hope 3 people click it.

Not heard back from the above affiliate departments so boooooooooo

Now been spammed by 21dukes . com. complained to them and they admitted sending it saying it was to give me the latest promotions, despite having an 'anti spam' policy. Also couldn't see any evidence of them having a licence on the site, how common is this? Saw the same with Lincolncasino . eu?

Avoid the spammers

Top Game. No reason for a UK player to be playing there, and what they are doing will be illegal by Dec 2014 in any case as I can't see them getting a license from the UKGC and depositing a security against taxes that might be due.

If you have never registered with them, even giving you the latest promotions is spam, and they have violated their own policy.

If you DO play there, make sure to count the wilds on the slots, and make sure there are the same number every time you log on:rolleyes:

never registered with them mate, I come from a sports betting background so have all the bookies accounts and have only played casino at a handful of them, Boylesports, betVictor, sportingbet, ladbrokes, william hill and betfair are the only casinos I have ever played and signed up for

Since they admit they sent it, not an affiliate, it shows why TopGame casinos are mostly in the rogue pit. They must have obtained and used your contact details via the "grey market" used by professional spammers, rather than via a legitimate opt in arrangement, unless of course they are going to drop one of those well known bookies in the proverbial by claiming you opted in to "..and selected third parties" at one of them.

Mr Green and Club Gold Casino spam from affiliates this week

reported both, got a reply saying thanks from mr green affiliates but no idea what they have done about it

(interesting thread about club gold casino on GPWA as well if it has been aired here as well)

Naming and shaming spam is about as useful as a chocolate teapot or an ashtray on a motorbike; you just simply flag it and filter it if you are bothered.

Keywords and IP addresses go through Internet Service Providers and get dumped but they turn up again, it’s the way of the internet.

I have as I suspect most here would have received spam emails from Casinos (of unknown or decidedly suspect origin) offering ridiculous offers that seem too good to be true and the old adage is if it seems too good to be true then it is (not generally, it is).

I do admit I like reading emails from the outer reaches of the world that declare me the saviour of a whole family if I just exchange bank details that make both them and me a profit.

I do admit I like reading emails from a foxy young lady that has just happened to find me and offers undivided love and attention if only I provide bank details for her flight.

I also do admit I recognise affiliate programs and adverts on websites, I make the choice to ignore.

888 are allways sending spam weekly still

Is it just me or most email clients automatically move spam to a folder that needs a rather quick check, select all and delete, takes mere seconds, the message headers reveal the content and you dump them.

I’d be more worried by unsolicited phone calls.

I don't get why they spam in the first place, I promote casinos and play them as well and the minute I sign up and get spam mail from them they are off my list, and website as well. I just don get it I am sure they must get some players/results but I don't ever think I have ever made any kind of purchase in my life from SPAM mail.

Obviously a spam is a pain in the arse but also think fair plays are needed when it is sorted.

Was getting some through from a To Play affiliate, reported them and fair plays, affiliate suspended and no longer allowed to advertise the casino. more should take this stance quickly

Well done Mark and To Play affiliates

Now to chase down the tosser sending me spam for allslotscasino
