Hello all,

I have used Casino Rewards casinos for a few months now without issue and thought their bonuses were pretty good, especially for nowadays and they actually encourage you to use multiple casinos within their brand unlike all the others who usually only allow you one per network.
I have had one account with them from March and never had an issue nor been asked for documents and have lost many hundreds. I started a new account with them on their site Luxury Casino a few weeks back and took part in the welcome bonus which i was fortunate enough to have a small win on after you deduct my other deposits and only just noticed an email from a couple of weeks back asking me for the following;

Picture of card front and back (standard)
Picture of my bank statement for the last 30 days with all transactions showing (not sure why i need to show all my transactions but fine)
A picture of my ID in front of my computer i used to sign up....... (Very strange)

Im going to send the documents they want later but i do not have the computer they are asking me to send a picture of anymore as i got rid of it literally last week but more to the point what could they possibly want a picture of this for? I've never heard of such a request from a casino before as there's no information in terms of identity or address verification they can garner from such an image. ID, Cards, Proof of address fine but this is very strange. I spoke to the UK Gambling Commission and they have said they also cant understand such a request and have asked me to get back to them with the response i get as to why they are asking for it. Has anyone else had such a ridiculous request from them?

Thanks in advance

Are you sure this is what they asked?

I did my KYC 10 years ago, so things may have changed. But they may just want a picture of you holding your ID taken from your pc cam.
If the information comes from their live chat, they don't really know what they are talking about 99% of the time.

I would ask the rep @Renee_RA

Hi, no they have asked for a picture of my ID directly in front of the screen of the computer i used to play on the casino. Its the most odd request i have ever heard of as it provides no information at all. A picture of me holding my ID would make more sense. I didnt realise they had a rep? Thanks. Will let you know how i get on

Hiya Jimbo, had this request once before but it was not with a casino, but a goverment authority, so its legitimate. Casinos should not asks for things like this, not on i say!. Why don't u stick to a creditable casino..like Videoslots, Paddypower or Virgin games, at least after verification, payment is certain and quick.

Casino rewards grp, i must say is rather abit dodgy, i had stay away.
Good luck with verification:)

Hi asidea i fail to see how this could possibly be considered legitimate for anyone at all to ask for this. What was the Government authority getting from your picture other than the information on the ID and the fact you own a computer? It certainly isnt something a Casino should be asking for. Selfie ID, Notarised etc all has somewhat of a purpose. This does not. I believed Casino Rewards to be creditable to be honest but clearly that may not be the case. We will have to see what happens. The fact you are calling them dodgy has me even more concerned!

Thanks

Did you use the web version or the 'Viper' download software to play?

If you used the download version then this request is not unusual at casino rewards.
