Are these guys legit? I'm having trouble getting my address verified. First I sent them copies of my electricity bill and phone bill. They were rejected because they were online statements. Then I send them a copy of a recent jury citation. That was rejected because it didn't show the date of issue, only the date I had been called as a juror (July 19). Then I send them a photo of a letter from my bank that arrived in the mail yesterday, including a video of me opening the envelope to prove it wasn't an online letter. That was rejected because not all four corners were visible (which clearly isn't true, see link below). I've now asked my electricity provider to mail me a paper bill so I can pass that on to them but I have a feeling they will come up with some new excuse not to approve it. Am I being unreasonable or does it all sound a bit fishy?

dont know anything about that casino
i had issues a while ago with a certain casino that i wont name ,in the end i took photos with my phone and sent from that
that was accepted ,hope that helps

Weird, I've just received an email from telling me my account has been verified despite the fact that I sent them no new documents since they rejected the last one. I don't get the approach of doing your best to annoy your customers. I'm certainly not coming back to deposit with them after this.

Pretty sure they are run/owned by the Broadway Gaming Group. The same people behind Butlers Bingo, Glossy Bingo, Dotty Bingo etc etc.

Used to play at their associated sites quite often and never had any problems with cash outs/bonuses/ID etc etc.

In fact I'm 99% confident I have not been asked for ID/ KYC documents to this day.

They are not the fastest payers in the world but they will pay any pending withdrawals, although they limit this to one withdrawal per week.

They are legit and can be trusted.

THEY are being unreasonable, I can see all 4 corners, so they have given a bogus reason for rejecting it. It would be no different were this your electric bill, or any other bill. If they gave you the true reason it was rejected you would be able to remedy this simply by taking a better photo.

You have to give more detail about how they know the electric bill was from your online account, did you just take a screenshot, or photo of your screen, making this obvious.

If they supply a PDF of the paper bill they would send, just download this, print it off, and scan or photograph it showing all 4 corners. Done right, they have no way of knowing the difference between you printing it off or the company printing it off, it's the same paper, A4 plain.

One possible reason for rejecting that letter might be because it's a bit blurred, so a better photo would help, and taken with it laid flat on the table, not held (some parts are more out of focus that others when holding it like that). They need to see the address, which matches the one registered on the casino, the date, and the entire page (all 4 corners). This is usually the top page of any bill or statement.

That's what I did and they rejected both with the reason given that they were printed online statements. They were as I have paperless settings for most of my bills but I haven't a clue how they could see that, to me they look more or less identical to what you would get in the mail.

In any case, it's all moot now as they have mysteriously decided that the documents I sent them were good enough after all.

They are getting a photo, not even the actual printed document. I can't see how they can tell for certain unless there are some subtle clues. Maybe they are guessing, perhaps based on something you have told them before. For example, you may have mentioned previously that you get all your bills online, so when you produce one, they bluff by initially rejecting it based on it being an online statement.

It's also possible that your printer puts footers on the pages, or it doesn't and they know that a printed bill from the energy company WOULD have footers printed on the page. You may also have a poor quality printer, or poor quality ink, and this is giving the game away.

Since you have sent for a paper bill, when it arrives compare it with one you printed from a PDF and see if you can spot any differences.

In the old days, companies would often use premium paper, but with cost cutting they tend to use the cheapest standard A4 sheets of printer paper, the same product we can buy for our own printers.

Casinos are going to have to accept that paper bills are in the past, and the drive is towards online billing, so naturally the ONLY way many players can supply a copy of their bills for KYC is by downloading one via their online accounts. These companies are not going to go out of their way to spend more money for the convenience of a completely unrelated industry, either by making the online bills look specifically different or by reverting to paper bills.

One incentive companies have employed to get people to switch to online billing is the PDF option for seeing exactly what their paper bill would look like were it to be posted out, something that some people see as a barrier to switching to paperless if they can't get a bill that looks exactly what they have been used to seeing in the post.

I hadn't told them anything, they just asked for documents and I sent them photos of two printed online statements thinking that would be sufficient. I guess there must be something on the bills which suggests it's not an old-fashioned paper bill. My printer isn't the best and the gas bill is slightly misalligned at the top so that might be it although why it would matter I'm not quite sure. They said that "for security reasons" they could not accept online bills.

Wow, quite shocked to hear the casino that insists the paper bill still exist.

I live in 2016, so I wouldn't go near the casino that still lives in 1990.

That's the clue, but the rest is bluff. They cannot know, they can only assume based on what they see and the quality they would expect from a major company in terms of print quality when it comes to producing bills. If they don't know that it's a printed online bill, they can't reject it. If this really is for "security reasons" then it's full of holes because it relies on them being able to tell the difference.

In the early days, online statements were nothing like the printed bills, and the difference was obvious, but with the advent of PDF copies of the paper bill being supplied alongside the online statement, it's trying to tell the difference between a page printed on A4 with a printer and a page printed on A4 with a printer. Unless they are experts in industrial vs domestic printers, they are not going to be able to tell the difference. I highly doubt this level of expertise exists given that far simpler things are beyond their comprehension when it comes to understanding what different countries have in terms of documents for citizens.

The UK must be a minefield because everything has been privatised, there is no such thing as a monopoly state owned utility supplier that produces one uniform bill standard for every citizen for KYC teams to become expert in assessing. If this isn't bad enough, they are forever redesigning our bills to make them ever more "easier to understand".

The few things we DO still get on paper, like our council tax bill or annual tax statement, are things the casinos tend not to accept in any case, one major problem being that they are ANNUAL bills or statements, which by definition are not sent out every 3 months. Online gambling could become seasonal, like fruit and veg, with players only being able to play between April and mid June, after which their council tax bill is no longer valid so that no further KYC checks can be passed till next spring.

I think its a sister casino to prism, slots of vegas etc..... Not 100% sure though.

No Kavaman.... they are owned by this group:

. Licensed in Malta and the UK, so should be pretty solid.

The one you are thinking of is Dreams Casino ... dreadful RTG outfit licensed in CostaRica.

The trouble with KYC is just becoming increasingly annoying, that is why i keep repeating: Get your KYC done and approved before your FIRST deposit. :D

These are the photos I originally sent them (with personal details blocked out of course). I checked and they do say in their T&C that they require paper bills and won't accpet online statements for account verification purposes.

There are subtle clues. Look carefully at the electric bill, top left, there is the "x" in a square, the browser "broken image" place marker. This would make them think this is a bill displayed in a browser and printed from the browser, even though it's otherwise an exact replica of the paper bill, and they should not be able to tell the difference. The O2 bill looks very plain, just text on paper, no logos of other fancies often seen on a paper bill. This too arouses suspicion.

Now, they can't be sure, but it's a sign that casinos are getting paranoid because they KNOW they can't tell the difference between a paper bill and the newer "print your own bill from PDF" service that is increasingly being offered to get the die hards to finally agree to go paperless, the kind who like to file their paper bills in a folder and keep them for future reference - my Mum for example. However, it's a fight the casinos are destined to lose in the long run because these companies are pushing paperless with the full backing of government, the EU, and various environmental campaigners. If people start switching back to paperless, the companies will try to find out the cause, and how they can remedy the shortcomings in the online service - which is how we got the "print your own paper bill from PDF" option in addition to the on screen statement.

Casinos WILL accept screenshots of Neteller and Skrill, because they KNOW these wallets have never issued paper statements and never will. So, if it's really a "security issue", they should be refusing to accept deposits from Neteller completely, not just with bonuses, because they can never get players to send them a paper "bank statement showing the deposit to the casino" that is so important for security.

They should now also "know" that Energy suppliers and phone companies are moving in the same direction, they too "don't send paper statements" by default, and just this year my water supplier told me they are bringing in a paperless billing service next year.

Casinos will have to move with the times and change their procedures, as if they don't they will lose players who will be deterred by the near impossibility of passing KYC if they win.
