Isn't that a little too late now? It would look kind of stupid to start a new thread posting the same things again.
Besides you have been in contact with him and he did file a PAB.

I don't know if Max still want to deal with it but maybe that's where his issue should be discussed more.
 
Didn't you submit a PAB? If you cancelled it then wait for the rep to respond but otherwise let Max do his job.


ps. No idea why you also dug up an old thread about them. To try and make them look bad doesn't make you look better.

I have to disagree with your claim that it is bad practice to dig up an old thread in order to post about the same complaint against the same casino. It demonstrates a consistency of bad practice or highlights an issue that may need addressing. The search facility in any fora is there for a reason. One of those reasons is to eliminate multiplications of threads on the same subject and to neatly contain discussion on a subject to one thread.
Talk about kicking someone when they are down!


On the specific issue of casino's penalising or taking the risk of appearing to take advantage of there being more than one account created via the same IP address goes, I believe they need too move with the times.
In the UK alone there are at least hundreds of thousands of fair minded and honest folk living in some form of shared housing sharing one IP address who have no right or reason to request what site/s they are signed up too. For this reason I believe that the onus should be more on the casino to seek clarification from a new member of their casino as soon as a second person attempts to sign up from a IP address. There should be a law within the gambling community that stipulates that if this is not followed up then all deposits made by a second or more depositor,should they be in the red, be returned to the depositor.
Technology today is available to address such an issue if casino's wished to use it.
To except deposits after a second account is created without any intention of paying out is inexcusable in this day and age because there is every means available to prevent it. IMO

He posted in this thread where another member had started a complain. Since the reps talked to him here and he also filed a PAB then I don't say anything about that.

What he did was to dig up an older thread too from 2014 and just posted some smilies and nothing else.
That was not ok!!

Besides after all years here I do know that it's not ok to dig up old threads. If anyone do that then we start to read the threads, maybe many pages just to find out in the end that it's already solved 5 years ago. Please don't do that and save us all some time.

I still disagree but I will respect your opinion. Expect me to use the search facility provided in order to post a related issue if I think it correct to do so. There is no point in us posting endlessly on this. :)

Which is simply a bullshit post and geared to piss off the moderators. That thread was from 2014 and has nothing to do with Hirvo's problem. A bunch of happy faces does not constitute a proper post. He did it to bump up a thread from the past that was already resolved.

I prefer that if and when people have issues - that they start their own thread, and if it's related to another thread then state so and provide a URL for that. This makes forum management much easier, and us happy few - us moderators - we can keep things well organized, and everyone is happy. :D
 
Just to add - Max is out of the office for most of the week, so Hirvo's PAB is on hold. But since Hirvo can't be bothered to read the PAB FAQ, I'm about to trash it. I don't have time for people who think our policies don't apply to them.

And by the way, it's fairly easy to tell if someone is using more than one account. If Hirvo is bullshitting anyone, he shouldn't be doing it here. There are a fair number of wise and experienced gamblers in this forum, and people who lie are easily called out. And they will be cyberly drawn and quartered. Just a heads up.

Your preference for posters to create a new thread even when it is closely related to one already created seems unusual to me. My experience of fora moderation is of frustration in having to deal with multiple threads on a very similar subject.
The way I read the comments( without being aware of the smiley post in the other thread) was that they where a bit harsh and those sort of comments towards occassional posters only result in putting folk off from posting and reduces traffic in a forum.
 
seeing situations like this over and over really starts to wear thin on the nerves
feel sorry for the punters especially with large amounts

still makes me wonder , that if a casino has software that scans through 10000s of spins to spot 2 bets over 10 bux , or 1 hand of blackjack etc within hours of a big win to void a bet
that they could have the bet limit capped soon as you took a bonus ...go to bet 10 bux ? sorry u cant do that .. greyed out , go to play blackjack .. sorry greyed out .

im guessing all casinos want the chance to void bets cause of 1 slip up , 1 accidental push of max bet that hits...... rather than enforce their rules via software.

imagine that , a casino that you couldnt break terms and conditions on cause it was hardwired into the games .. sigh

If people are posting willy nilly bumping up threads that have nothing to do with each other except perhaps the title, than that's forum anarchy. We have some threads in the main forum going back to 2003. The archives - which date back to 1999 - can no longer be bumped up :p

You submitted your PAB on the 1st - that was 10 days ago. The FAQs that you obviously didn't read states that it may take up to three weeks - maybe longer depending on the situation.

It was submitted to the casino on the 4th, and Max has been out most of the week, so you need to be a bit patient. :cool:

Yes you indeed have, however I still have no answer to why I was allowed to deposit a further 20 plus times into an account your casino deemed duplicate when I had no chance of ever winning. If you can answer this I will close this down for me anyway as a bad day out. Thank you.

Sorry but that is a load of BS. Your PAB was originally posted on the 28th of February but you botched it because you had not read the PAB FAQ as you were clearly and repeatedly asked to do.

This FAQ tells you what you can expect as a consequence of this: delays. In your case it took a few days for me to get back to you, request that you read the FAQ and resubmit your PAB with corrections. You did, I received your revised PAB on the 4th of March and told you via email that it was fine and that I would proceed.

I submitted your PAB to the casino people that same day -- the 4th -- and things have proceeded from there.

The bottom line IMO is that your PAB has proceeded pretty much exactly as the FAQ says it would. The only thing that's caused you to wait at all is your own errors due to not reading the FAQ. As the man said, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.
